Destiny 2: Twilight weapons this week

In this guide to the twilight weapons in Destiny 2 - Season 17 you will learn:

  • Which twilight strike is in the playlist this week
  • Which weapons await you as a reward
  • The God Rolls for the twilight weapons

The twilight strikes in Destiny 2 are particularly challenging strikes, which therefore also bring exclusive loot. The higher you set the difficulty, the higher the likelihood that you will end up with a twilight weapon.

Since July 5, the top versions of the twilight strikes have been active. These are among the hardest end-game content in Destiny 2 and require a power level of 1585. In return, you can also get the master versions of the twilight weapons here.

If you have already completed the Conqueror Seal, you can also choose between all the top versions of the Twilight Strikes that you still have to do to gold the seal.

Tip: Double Vanguard Rank Points this week.

Twilight Strike: Testing Ground (8/16 - 8/23)

The current Twilight Strike is "Testing Grounds" on Nessus, which pits you against Caiatl's Kabal Champion at the end. On Hero difficulty and above, Unstoppable and Barrier champions await you there.

You will have to deal with Solar, Void and Arcus shields - at the latest from the difficulty level "Legend" you should make sure that you have the appropriate elemental weapons with you, because then the modifier "Perfect Fit" takes effect, which makes enemy shields highly resistant to unequal elemental damage.

Modifiers active this week includeScorched Earth(enemies throw significantly more grenades) and Problem Solver (when targets are nearby, enhanced slide is active, which increases your ranged weapon damage for a short time after the slide).

On Grandmaster difficulty, you'll also have to deal with the Friction modifier. This causes your life regeneration to be significantly limited. To regenerate life, you have to collect light sources that enemies leave behind when they die - so it's best to have at least one warlock in your team who can heal you with his rift.

Tip for the higher difficulty levels: be sure to put a Solar Resistance mod in your chest protector, asAcute Solar Burnis active in Twilight Strike - you will deal 25% more solar damage, but also suffer 50% more solar damage.

Peak Modifier

The frontrunner twilight of Test Site relies on the following modifiers in addition to the typical frontrunner occurrences (limited resurrects, additional champions, etc.):

  • Scorched Earth: enemies throw significantly more grenades.
  • Abrasion: Radar is deactivated.
  • Ignovun's Challenge: Incoming blast damage, knockback damage, and distance are increased.

Twilight Weapon in the Current Week (8/16 - 8/23)

The master version of Twilight Weapon is available in the top-rated Twilight. There you can also get the master mods that you can use only in these versions of the weapons.

Silicon Neuroma (Silicon Neuroma)

With Witch Queen, the sniper rifle Silicone Neu roma returned after it was sanitized with Beyond Light back in the day. Even though the sniper can have great PvE perk combos like "triple" and "line of fire" in theory, we recommend Silicone Neurom more for PvP. The slow fire rate of the 72 sniper rifles and the small magazine are hardly usable for short boss phases.

In PvP, however, Silikonneurom knows how to shine thanks to the very strong perk combo of "Snapshot Sight" and "First Shot".

You can only get the Silicone Neurom sniper rifle in twilight strikes.

PvP God Roll Recommendation:

  • Fluted barrel ( 5 stability and 15 handling)
  • Impact bullets ( 5 range and 10 stability)
  • Snapshot Sight (It's faster to use the aiming device)
  • First Shot (Improves range by 25 and Aim Assist by 20 on the first shot of an attack)
