What does the scrap crack do?

The scrap crack can be used as a weapon, but it can also be used to destroy objects and buildings. If you throw the object, a dimensional rift opens above it, from which a random object falls. This can be an anchor, a car or even a large dinosaur.

Objects and buildings hit by the object are immediately destroyed. If an enemy is under the crack, it will receive extremely high damage and be catapulted away. So it's worth having a scrap crack in your pocket.

Heavyweights like anchors, cars or even dinos come out of the crack!

Where can I find a scrap crack?

The scrap crack is part of the normal loot pool in Fortnite. This means that you can find the item in chests, supply crates, or on the ground.

The quickest way to find a scrap crack is to go to large areas like Tilted Towers, Rave Cave, or the Daily Bugle. It's best to search the ground after you find your first weapon and focus less on the chests.

Since it's an epic item, you'll quickly recognize the scrap crack by its purple glow.

You'll find the scrap crack in your regular loot

How do I use a scrap crack?

Since the scrap crack is a consumable item, it disappears after you use it. So choose wisely when you want to use this powerful object. It is best used when you want to knock down buildings or lure enemies out of cover.

Select the object, hold down the fire button and aim at the spot where you want the shot to land, just like throwing a grenade. Make sure that you are not too far away from your desired target.

If you want to cancel the attack, switch weapons without releasing the fire button. Then your character will put the shot crack back in.
