On which stages the Arena-Fatality works
Fatalities have always been a unique selling point of the Mortal Kombat series. After a victory, the opponent staggers for a few seconds, giving you the opportunity to taunt him or her with a final attack.
By entering special key combinations, a Fatality sequence is triggered, in which the characters are destroyed in the most brutal way. For a rematch, of course, the enemies live again. Dying is part of everyday life in Mortal Kombat 11 (), after all.
Mortal Kombat 11 has received some criticism for the many elements, some of which are difficult to unlock, which have already been defused on the part of the developers. The exception is Fatalities, because you don't necessarily have to unlock them. Once you know the combination, you can perform the Fatalities and get the Achievements & Trophies. Here you can find our complete trophy guide for MK11.
In our listing you can find the Fatality key combinations for all 37 Mortal Kombat 11 characters. As soon as there is information about more DLC characters, we will update the list. For MK11 beginners we recommend our Mortal Kombat 11 tutorial.
How to unlock all Mortal Kombat 11 fatalities?
Each character in Mortal Kombat 11 has 2 different Fatalities. The first can be looked up from the beginning of the game in the pause menu. The second Fatality, however, must be unlocked unless you already know the key combination. Then you can use it immediately.
So, with our guide, you can perform all 50 Fatalities of the characters in the base game and those of the DLC characters without unlocking them first. This will save you valuable Koins and allow you to see all the finishers right away.
When performing Fatalities, you must pay attention to the distance between you and the staggering opponent. Most of the shortcuts will only work if you are standing at the right distance. You can find them in our list. By performing the Fatalities you can get a large part of the Trophies & Achievements, all others can be found in our Mortal Kombat 11 Trophy Guide.
Simple Fatality - How to use Fatality tokens?
If you don't want to remember the Fatality key combinations, Mortal Kombat 11 gives you the option to use simplified inputs. However, these cost one "Simple Fatality Token" per use and can be used for normal Fatalities, Arena Fatalities & Friendships.
The inputs for simple Fatalities, Arena Fatalities & Friendships are the same for every character. The keys are always sorted by PlayStation/Xbox One/Nintendo Switch:
Simple Fatality2: R2/RT/RZ Hard Hit (Triangle/Y/X)
SimpleArena-Fatality: R2/RT/RZ Light Kick (X/A/B)
SimpleFriendship Fatality: R2/RT/RZ Hard Kick (Circle/B/A)
Tokens for simple fatalities can be obtained in-game as rewards or purchased for real money in the store. However, we advise you not to buy them, as they don 't really add any value and you can also just use our list for all fatality combinations without spending any money.
On which stages do Arena Fatalities work in MK11: Aftermath?
With the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion, Arena Fatalities were added for all 34 characters, using the environment of each stage for a particularly gruesome death. The Arena Fatalities have been unlocked for all MK11 players, so you don't have to buy the expansion to perform them.
We have added the key combinations of all Stage Fatalities to our list for each MK11 character. Arena Fatalities, however, are only usable on the following stages:
Shaolin Trap Dungeon
Dead Pool
Tournament
Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Friendships - How to use the friendship fatalities?
With the MK11 Aftermath expansion, Friendship Fatalities were also integrated for all fighters. Friendships are quasi anti-fatalities, where your character does something nice or funny instead of harming the opponent. Friendships can be entered just like normal Fatalities with a special key combination when the opponent staggers in front of you at the end of a fight.
We have added the Friendship inputs for all 34 MK11: Aftermath characters to our list. Netherrealm has come up with some extremely fun Friendships, so it's worth trying them all out! Our favorite, by the way, is Jax Briggs' Friendship - "Epic Jax Guy" - seen here in the Eleven Hours version:
