Wake-up Call: The Nightmare Begins

Get out of bed and exit your cabin. Grab the flashlight in front of you, turn it on and follow the corridor towards the Research Lab. Open the door with the green lights and go left to the Greenhouse. The door at the end of the corridor is stuck.

Enter the dark corridor on the other side and get the crowbar from the locker opposite the second flower box. Use it to open the stuck door. As soon as it gets dark, walk towards the flickering blue light and wake up again in your cabin shortly after.

To log into your terminal, look at the shelf across from the desk. There you will find your key card and on the back of a picture you will find the PIN. Use it to log in to the computer and unlock the door. Leave the booth and head to the Rec Room.

Morning routine: How to find the biogage?

Look around the rec room, get coffee from the vending machine and take the flashlight from the kitchen counter. Once you have everything, continue to the Research Lab. On the way there you will find the crowbar in the same place as in your dream. Use it to open the jammed door and enter the lab.

With the biogage on your arm you have a useful scanner and can hack into systems.

The Biogage can be found on the workbench a few meters to the left of the entrance. Pick it up, turn it over and reset it with the pen to your right. Scan the server across from the entrance with the biogage. Look through the notes and documents lying around and exit the lab.

Follow the signs in the direction of Airlock. Once there, equip yourself with the astronaut helmet and fill your oxygen tank via the hose to the left. Press the red switch to the right of the exit door and leave the station as soon as the atmosphere is adjusted.

On your left you will see the Mycrat Rover. At the rear of the vehicle, press a switch to open the hatch. Close it once you're inside and activate the engine in the cockpit. The ride will be automatic while you chat with your colleague over the radio.

Power of the Sun: How to activate the base's power supply?

Once you've arrived at the outpost, equip yourself with helmet and oxygen and exit the Mycrat Rover. March along the lighted path until you reach the solar cells. You'll need a power cell to get the system working again, and you'll need to realign the solar panels.

You can control two of the three solar panels with the biogage. Go to the respective control unit and connect to it. Turn the panels to the left or right until you reach the highest percentage. Then turn them up or down until you reach over 90 percent.

In the middle of the area you will find an oxygen station to refill your tank. Take the elevator down the cliff and remove the energy cell from its control unit. Enter the station opposite.

How do I activate the power line control unit?

Turn on your flashlight and insert the power cell into the slot provided, to the left of the entrance. Unlock the door to the next room by the computer and get a new energy cell from the table there. Take the first energy cell out of the slot and leave the station.

In Declan's quarters you will find a power cell for the elevator.

Push one of the cells into the elevator's control unit and go back up. Insert the power cell into the slot on the control unit for the left solar panels. Align the panels to over 90 percent and go back to the hill you came from via the lighted path.

There you will find the control unit of the power line, whose fuse you will find on the right side. Open the lid and press the lever underneath. Then activate the power line with the red button under the display and return to the base with the Mycrat Rover.

The flooded greenhouse: where to find the water purifier?

You should run to the water purifier in the Greenhouse to remove the excess water. Scan the area and follow the indicator to the water purifier. Go up the stairs and down the stairs in the next room. Use your ID card to open the doors with security level one.

Use the crank to turn off the hot steam in Moons of Madness.

In the big hall, go up the stairs on the left and over the bridge. On the other side climb up the yellow ladder. Jump through the open hatch onto the pipes. On the table to your left you will find a crank to turn off the hot steam coming out of the pipes opposite.

To do so, go into the narrow passage in the middle and insert the crank in the pipe above the yellow arrows. Now the way to the yellow hatch is free. Climb down and climb through the next yellow hatch as well. Use the crank again to turn off the steam and follow the corridor until the path splits.

The passage on the right is blocked by a huge brown root and escaping steam. On the left you will enter a room with large pipes. Crawl under the pipes and enter the next corridor, where another root is just retreating.

The greenhouse is not in good condition.

Run straight ahead, crawl under the pipes and turn off the steam with the crank. Go further to the left and into the corridor covered with black streaks. At the end of it, climb over the yellow hatch on the ceiling, where you will reach the water purifier.

Where can I find the missing components?

Grab the security level two ID from the desk. Behind you, you'll find the environmental control system with the empty slots for the missing components. Exit the room through the door to your right. In the middle of the area you will find the control station you will need later.

You will find the missing components in the Greenhouse in such vending machines.

Enter lab number four in front of you and go past the yellow hatch through the infected rooms. Two floors up you will find the blue recovery unit in a vending machine. Go through the door to the right of it and turn the overgrown wheel over the control unit until an opening appears.

Get in, connect to the control unit on the other side via the biogage and move the second wheel as well until you get through. Climb down the ladder and grab the yellow recovery unit. Return to the vending machine where you found the blue recovery unit and exit the lab one floor down through the door.

Take the left staircase up to area number 1 and open the door that slammed shut behind you. Go all the way down and get the red recovery unit from the vending machine.

How do I turn off the sprinklers in the Greenhouse?

Leave the room through the broken glass wall and go up the yellow stairs three floors. Walk along the parapet until you see the tap of the sprinkler system. Use the crank to turn off the sprinkler.

Turn off the sprinkler with the crank to stop the water.

Do the same on the opposite side. Then return to the environmental control system and put the recovery units into the color-coded slots. Set the units beforehand as follows:

  • Red unit: 25, 50, 120
  • Yellow unit: 35, 90, 140
  • Blue unit: 33, 70, 100

Connect to the control system and activate it. After that, turn on the control station and flee from the monster. Once you have reached the Greenhouse, leave the base and get into the Mycrat Rover.

What is the solution to the Orb puzzle in the Cave of Madness?

Along the cave you will keep coming across pink glowing orbs. Focus on them to activate them. In the first room, you'll find three orbs connected to an empty column in the middle. You will drive away the snake-like root with your gaze.

In the Caves of Madness, some kind of snake will sneak up behind you.

Activate the orbs around the pillar, read the note on the desk and go into the cave where the snake is coming from. Read the note and take the black orb from the red tripod. Put it in the column in the previous room, where it will now charge. Take the charged orb again and put it back into the red tripod.

Go through the cleared path. You'll find the first orb just to the left behind a half-open door, the second one is at the end of the corridor next to the desk. To the left of it, there's a black orb hanging from a green wall lamp. Take it and put it in the empty pedestal at the end of the pink glowing vines.

Follow the left passage, pick up the orb from the rock, place it in the empty pedestal and activate it. When you come through the door, there is another empty pedestal on your right. Go left, past the red pedestal and take the empty orb to the right of the door. Put it in the empty pedestal and charge it.

A few meters further the next orb hangs over the root tendrils on the ceiling. Follow the glowing roots again and move the empty sphere from the dresser to the pedestal to the right of it. Behind the doors on the left, right and above this pedestal are the orbs you need to activate. After that, put the loaded orb in the red tripod and escape.

How do I find the symbols in the avoided cellar?

Collect all the photos and read the notes that are on the tables and cabinets. Pull out the books from the shelf in the following order: 6-4-2-4. Pin the photos in order on the bulletin board in the secret room, starting with the earliest time stamp.

In these places you will find the symbols in the avoided basement.

Look at the board at the altar, leave the room again and look for the glowing symbols in the basement. The first one appears when you walk past the power box from the laundry room, the rest you will find in the immediate vicinity. The screenshot above shows you the exact locations. After that, return to the altar and pick up the Necronomicon.

Sabotaged Signal: How to Repair the Radio?

To raise the cargo area of the vehicle, you need an energy cell. You can find it in one of the containers. The access code is 7357. If the vehicle has energy, activate the hydraulic system.

The loading area of a rover blocks the way to the satellite dish.

Follow the path to the left of the elevator and climb up over the scaffolding and ledges. Enter Declan's quarters and rummage through his PC and notes. Grab the power cell and insert it at the switch for the elevator.

In the base, insert the power cell from the workbench into the device by the door. Scan the power line to the right of it and solve the line puzzles, as in the image gallery below.

Go to the satellite facility and calibrate the module to 43.1 degrees of tilt and -157.9 degrees of heading deviation. Activate the radio and return to the rover. Once down, you will notice that it has disappeared. Follow the lanterns out into the Martian desert.

The looming danger in Moons of Madness

Back in the lab, you need to make a mixture against the malicious plants. Get the recipe from the PC and go to the centrifuge opposite. Gather all the vials in the lab and put them in the centrifuge according to the mixture (see image gallery).

Then go to the Research Lab, download the next mixture and the software from the PC and collect the vial. You can now explode the pink plants with your scanner. For the second mixture at the centrifuge you only need three vials, which you have to arrange in a triangle. Run to the airlock and sprint along the path outside the station.

The poison tree: How to defeat Inna?

Once in the Greenhouse, go out the door and into the green area. Press the scanner every few steps to open the pink plants. Walk among the roots and flowers and inject the poison into the polyps.

Inject the poison into the polyps to make them burst.

Through the yellow hatch you will enter the shaft to the water tanks. Follow the yellow water symbols and inject the poison into the marked spots on the tanks. Return to the control station, flip the lever and get acquainted with your slightly changed colleague Inna.

During the attacks, the weak spots will light up briefly. If she lets go of you, look for polyps along the roots and inject them with the poison. During the third attack of the mutated scientist, ram the crowbar into her mouth. After poisoning the last polyps, release Inna and take her ID card.

Your colleague Inna has changed slightly in the meantime.

Leave the greenhouse and return to the Research Lab. Look through Inna's computer and activate the secret elevator with the security code 5538. Go down to the "Argus" floor.

Secret Keeper: How do I get past the security system?

Scan the security cameras and change their angle so that you can scurry past them without being seen. If one of the robots gets hold of you, it's over. Follow the corridors through the labs.

Calibrate the transformers as you did before in the radio station. In the picture gallery above you can see the exact solution. Read all the protocols on the computers. Once you have arrived in Volkova's lab, march up the yellow stairs.

On one of the computers you will find the ID card of the CEO of Orochi. Use it to disable the security lock on the computer and look through the large glass front. Return to the elevator and go down to the "Icarus" level.

Icarus Complex: Where is the door code and the hand for the scanner?

Watch out for the roots on the ground that occasionally extend spikes. Run through the corridors and look through the computers in the labs. After the giant tendrils, you will need a hand for the scanner on the elevator and a door code.

In the Icarus Complex, you'll slowly get a little closer to the secrets of Moons of Madness.

Go past the glass containers with the clones and look at the logs on the PC. There you will find the door code to the morgue (9510) and the needed hand inside. Put it on the scanner and escape from the monster with the elevator.

Eight-headed monster: What are the missing settings for the consoles?

Follow the caves and corridors until you reach the mysterious office. Look around and go to the computer. The password is "EDEN." Then go to the control station with the green glowing screen.

Set the right settings on the console to escape from the secret office.

On the slips of paper to the left and right of it, you'll find the clues to the settings. On the left slip of paper, the lower half of the instructions is torn off. The missing settings for the control panel are:

  • Lighting slider between the second and third lights from the right
  • lower sound slider to level 3

Once the curtain has opened, go to the right console and set the sliders to 5-1-2, after which the hoses in front of you will disconnect and it will get dark. Run straight through the wooden door and enter the therapist's office.

The code for the second console is 5-1-2.

Go to the laptop and then through the door into the lecture hall. Read the notes that appear one by one on the tables and then leave the room through the open door. Go back to the laptop and then through the door to the Necronomicon.

The gate: How to escape the sandworm?

Enter the gate and follow the lights. Once you have arrived at a smaller locked gate, turn around and go left past the stairs through the narrow passage with the flares.

If the sandworm in Moons of Madness catches you, you won't stand a chance.

Follow the cave until you stand in front of a chasm. A huge worm digs through the sand and kills you immediately when it catches you. Jump down and run to the left onto the rocks. Opposite you will reach the stone wall.

Climb up and jump onto the opposite platform. From there run towards the statue and shimmy onto the rock with the symbols. Jump down onto the sand and run to the next sculpture. From there you will reach the saving shore on the right.

How do I activate the pillars of the immaculate machine?

After finding your colleagues, head towards the Tesseract. You need to activate three pillars by arranging three cubes in the right position each. To the right of Declan you will find the first panel with the glowing symbols.

One cube is lying on the ground. Pick it up and turn it until it forms the pattern on the board together with the other cubes. On each of the next two columns you have to position two cubes correctly. Check out the image gallery if you don't recognize the correct patterns.

The Last Man on Mars: Finale in Moons of Madness

After that, run outside through the collapsing caves and get into the Myrcat rover. Once you have arrived at the Invictus, run to the left into the small station. Run through the corridor, past the exercise bike and up the stairs.

The Icarus is your last rescue in Moons of Madness.

Use the ladder to get to the command station. Go to the control panel and press the red button to restore the Icarus' power supply. Run downstairs, squeeze between the coffee table with the chessboard and crawl outside under the root.

Giant worms are waiting for you in the sand. Run from the door to the left towards the tower. From there continue onto the wagon and sprint to the stones next to the container. Run towards Icarus and stop on each of the two rock platforms in front of the ramp.

One last look at the Moons of Madness.

Take the elevator to the top and refuel with oxygen. Climb up the ladders into the cockpit. Press all the buttons until all the lights glow green. Once you are floating in space, use the radio and enjoy the view.
