PES 2019 - Barcelona, Schalke and Co.: These teams are included

In the license jungle ofFIFA and PES, it can sometimes get quite confusing. Which team can I play where? Which team will only be available under fake names? Every year the licenses change, which causes double confusion. So that you don't have to gather everything together, we've created a list of fully-licensed teams that Konami has announced for PES 2019 so far. A same article for FIFA 19 will follow in the coming weeks.

Schalk's Veltins Arena in PES 2019

Partner clubs

FC Schalke 04 (Bundesliga)

Schalke has been part of the Pro Evolution Soccer series for years, and now the German club even announced a partnership with Konami. As a result, not only the players will be represented in detail in the latest spin-off. The home stadium of the Königsblauen, the Veltins Arena, has also been scanned.

FC Barcelona (Spain)

FC Barcelona will not only be the partner club of the latest offshoot again: The players of the Spanish top club will also grace the cover of PES 2019. In addition, the iconic Camp Nou stadium will also be included in the game once again.

Liverpool FC (England)

In 2016, the English club entered into a three-year partnership with Konami for the Pro Evolution Soccer series. Again, the developer scanned the club's home ground and implemented it in detail in the video game. Over time, Konami also added Liverpool FC legends to the series.

PES 2019's newest partner club: AS Monaco

AS Monaco (France)

Newly added as a partner this year is Ligue 1 club AS Monaco. Not only will there be a special cover featuring the club's players, but the club will also act as an ambassador for PES in the future.

Colo Colo (Chile)

For PES 2018, Konami and the Chilean club signed an exclusive partnership, which is why the team was included exclusively in the soccer simulation of the Japanese developer. In March 2018, both parties announced that they would extend the partnership for the latest spin-off.

Inter Milan (Italy)

In addition to Colo Colo, Inter Milan also joined PES 2018 as a new partner. Konami not only scanned the players, but also recorded the soundscape in the stadium. Players could be cheered by original chants and chants of the fans in PES 2018.

Inter Milan is also back in PES 2019

Other licensed teams:

AC Milan, FC Sao Paulo, Flamengo Rio de Janeiro, Palmeiras Sao Paulo, Argentina national team, France national team

Leagues

Primeira Liga Portugal), Danish Superliga, Pro League (Belgium), Super League (Switzerland), Ladbrokes Premiership (Scotland), Primera Division (Argentina), Premjer Liga (Russia).

No BVB in PES 2019

Surprisingly, Borussia Dortmund will not be in PES 2019. The club prematurely ended its contract with Konami, as they wanted to focus on FIFA. We won't know if there will be other German clubs in PES 2019 until Konami releases the full team roster in the coming weeks. Last year, fans were able to play Schalke and RB Leipzig in addition to BVB.
