GT7: Can I sell my cars?

Series veterans probably remember that in previous Gran Turismo installments, such as Gran Turismo Sport on PS4, they could sell their cars for credits again. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible in Gran Turismo 7: you can't sell cars in GT7.

How can I get rid of cars in Gran Turismo 7?

The only way to get rid of cars in Gran Turismo 7 is to remove them from your garage. However, you won't receive any credits by doing this.

Why can't I sell cars in Gran Turismo 7?

There is no official info from Sony as to why you can't sell cars in GT7 so far. One reason could be the microtransactions in the game. You can buy credits for real money in the PlayStation Store:

  • 100.000 credits for 2.49 euros
  • 250.000 credits for 4.99 euros
  • 750.000 credits for 9.99 euros
  • 2.000.000 Credits for 19,99 Euro

If players could sell their cars for credits in Gran Turismo 7, they might have less incentive to buy credits for real money on the PlayStation Store. If the developers give in here in the future and deliver the selling of cars via patch, we'll let you know.
