Dark Souls 3: Find the secret boss fight in the DLC The Ringed City

Starting today, intrepid fighters can plunge into the latest DLC for Dark Souls 3, which bears the name The Ringed City. As you've come to expect from the hard-hitting game series from FromSoftware, the expansion's new game environment - besides eye candy and a whole bunch of dangerous enemies - also holds some secrets. One of them is a hidden boss fight. We'll explain how to trigger this confrontation in The Ringed City DLC here.

Your first point of reference is the Ringed Inner Wall beacon. From there, descend the tower, cross the path ahead of you, turn right and climb the big staircase. It will lead you to a door where you can talk to an NPC. He will ask you to hunt down a dragon. Accept this quest.

Next, look for the Shared Grave beacon. From there, head up the stairs, which will eventually let you step outside and onto a bridge. There you will encounter the dragon Darkeater Midir. Defeat the large black dragon, which then plummets into the abyss.

Continue on to the vicinity of the Church beacon. Just before it, you will find a tower with many statues of black knights. Inside you will also find an elevator that will take you towards the Ringed Inner Wall. Afterwards, look out for a small alcove on the right side and jump in.

Walk down the path to your right and you'll find a statue of a black knight holding no weapons. If you attack it, you will come across a false wall that will open the way to another chasm. Jump down and you will land in an underground cave.

Here comes the second boss fight against Darkeater Midir. Once you have defeated him, you will receive the items "Spears of the Church" and "Soul of Darkeater Midir".
