In Chapter 14, you can accept a side quest at the Chocobo stop in Sector 5. Sam is distraught because three of his beloved Chocobos have escaped from him, and he tasks you with finding the lost birds again.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is the PS5 version of Final Fantasy 7 Remake. Except for the additional Intermission chapter and graphical improvements, the PS5 version is no different from the PS4 version. So the information in this guide is valid for both game versions.

Where can I find the first Chocobo?

You can find the first Chocobo in front of the church, which is also where Aerith's flowerbed is. To get to the church, leave the slums of Sector 5 through the northern exit towards the train station.

Cross the station and turn right into an alley that will lead you to a broken metal gate. Behind the gate begins the Street of Contemplation, which leads to the church. You will find the lost Chocobo crouching in a shed on the left. Give the Chocobo a Gizar Herb and you'll have the first bird in your pocket.

Chocobo Search: Finding the second Chocobo

Head to the train station you passed earlier. Take the northern path that passes between two snack stands to get to the rubble dumping area. Keep to the right at the next fork. Go through the metal gate and take the ladder to get to the "Hexagonal Hill" area.

At the bottom, you will find the missing Chocobo sitting in front of a loading ramp to your left. Interacting with the Chocobo will result in a fight with a striped shimmer. Defeat the shimmer and the feathered friend is yours.

The Chocobo Quest: Finding the last Chocobo

You will find the last Chocobo in the collapsed highway, where you had to help Aerith with the help of giant robot hands. Start from sector 5 and go in the southern direction. Follow the road until you see the tunnel entrance on the left.

Follow the tunnel towards thePeriwinkle Parkand pass the giant robot hands. Once you're halfway there, you'll find the scared Chocobo on the right side of the tunnel. Before interacting with the Chocobo, be prepared for a tough fight.

Intimidate the mutants during their dance and then destroy the clones. Once you have won the fight, travel back to the Wall Market. At the entrance of the market Sam is waiting for you with the reward. You may now use the Chocobo Fast Travel for free.
