FIFA 19: The transfer market in FIFA Ultimate Team explained

The transfer market is comparable to a control center, without which absolutely nothing works in FIFA Ultimate Team(FUT). Here players from all over the world offer their player cards for sale, which are drawn randomly from card packs.

Each player has a transfer market list in FUT, which is limited to a certain number of slots. So you can't offer an unlimited number of cards for sale at the same time. The same applies to the watch list. Here you can mark certain player cards and easily follow their price development to be able to buy them at a good time.

A little tip: In the EA FC catalog there are extensions for your transfer list and the watch list, so you can expand them by a few places.

Buying and selling player cards

There are different ways to get FIFA coins by selling cards. While some players only sell the cards you don't need, others analyze the market and try to buy cards cheaply and sell them again expensively at a later time.

The transfer market in FIFA 19 is a highly dynamic marketplace with its own mechanisms, driven by supply and demand. The prices of certain player cards can therefore vary greatly.

The easiest and fastest way to get FIFA coins is to dump the card via instant sale. This removes the card from your inventory and gives you a small amount of coins in return. However, this procedure is not very rewarding, which is why we largely advise against using this method.

The best way to earn FIFA coins by reselling a cardis to use the transfer market window. There you can offer cards that are no longer needed for other players to buy. Other players can then bid on your card with FIFA coins or buy it for a slightly higher price via buy-it-now.

When placing the offer, both the minimum bid and the buy-it-now price are determined by you. The duration of the auction can also be controlled. Before you buy a player card, you should always use the price comparison button. Other auctions of the same card will be displayed, which may allow you to find a cheaper offer.

At the end of the auction, the player card will be removed from your inventory and the amount will be credited to your coin account. Note, however, that there is a five percent fee for each action on the transfer market. This is automatically deducted from the earned revenue. The more expensive the card you sell, the higher the tax you have to pay to EA.

Be careful with the transfer market prices

You should also note that the market differs from platform to platform. Even the prices of the players differ from each other. So, if a player card is sold on PlayStation 4, it doesn't mean that the same card is worth exactly the same on Xbox One or PC.

In FIFA Ultimate Team, there are hundreds of different strategies and methods you can use to earn FIFA coins by selling cards. You'll have to find out for yourself which method works best for you.

Every FUT player develops his own transfer strategy over time. Try it out, experiment with the transfer market and develop the perfect strategy, because that's one of the biggest attractions of FIFA Ultimate Team.
