Diablo Immortal: Tier list and best class

In this guide to the classes in Diablo Imm ortal you will learn:

  • Which is the best class in Diablo Immortal
  • How the tier list is composed
  • Where each class ranks in the tier list

The six classes fill different roles in the game. For example, a monk is much better suited as a support than a necromancer. However, the necromancer is superior to the monk in dealing damage. We reveal who each class is suited for in Diablo Immortal.

How is our tier list composed?

For this tier list we looked at lists from websites like wowhead.com, rockpapershotgun or maxroll.gg and compared them with each other as well as with our own experiences. This allowed us to make an assessment of the different classes.

Important: Our assessment of Barbarian, Monk and Co. in Diablo Immortal refers to the general usefulness of the classes - not to individual content such as Elder portals or dungeons.

Tip: Don't let a tier list dictate which class you want to play - choose the class whose gameplay appeals to you the most.

S-Tier and best class: Necromancer

The class with a lot of bones on its armor is very strong in Diablo Immortal. The necromancer creates distractions with tons of minions, which makes him not take as much damage. Also, he himself and his skeletons deal a lot of damage - he brings the perfect mix of strong resilience and high damage.

His abilities allow for different builds, allowing you to specialize your necromancer for different situations. You can play him in both PvE and PvP. It is therefore suitable for beginners and professionals as well as solo players and team players.

The necromancer fights against the demons with bones and black magic.

S-Tier: Demon Hunter

The damage dealt is immensely important in Diablo Immortal - whether it's high single target or huge AoE damage. Here, the Demon Hunters are the absolute kings and queens. They are very welcome in groups, even if they don't bring any additional buffs. Solo, the Demon Hunter is also strong - provided you have the right positioning on it, because the Crossbowmen are pretty weak on the chest. But that's secondary for now, because most monsters will hardly reach you due to your high damage.

The Demon Hunter is a bit harder to play than the Necromancer. Due to its high mobility, it is nevertheless suitable for beginners - but professionals will also have fun with it.

Ready for battle with two crossbows: the Demon Hunter.

A-Tier: Barbarian

The Barbarian feels right at home in a crowd of enemies and destroys them in no time. However, as strong as his AoE damage is, his damage on a single target is low. This is his only shortcoming, as he is very mobile due to his various abilities and can take a few hits. You won't go wrong with the Barbarian in both PvE and PvP.

The Barbarian is very suitable for beginnerssince correct positioning is secondary for him. But professionals also swear by the bloodthirsty melee fighter. If you want to carry the biggest weapons in the game and strike with them, the barbarian is your class.

A-Tier: Crusader

You want a huge shield with which you can protect yourself and your allies? Then the Crusader is the class of your choice. He does good AoE damage, but - like the barbarian - has problems against single strong targets. On the other hand, he has many abilities that help not only him, but also his party members. If you play a Crusader, you are always welcome in groups.

In dungeons and portals as well as in PvP matches, the Crusader can shine with his abilities. His playstyle is quite easy to learn - this ensures that he is well suited for beginners.

The Crusader combines a huge shield with holy wrath.

B-Tier: Monk

The Monk is the dream class for all martial arts fans. With him you get a character that is made for playing in a group. He has many support abilities for healing and enemy control. The Monk's AoE damage and mobility are fine - but he lacks single-target damage. This makes him progress a bit slower than other classes in solo play.

He is always welcome in PvE groups and can also convince in PvP. In both cases, this is due to the aforementioned control abilities. Since he is mobile and doesn't fall over so quickly, but at the same time can also shine in the endgame with his support abilities, the Monk is suitable for beginners and professionals.

Perfect for team players: the Monk.

B-Tier: Wizard

This magic-working class destroys its opponents with devastating spells. These usually cause damage to multiple enemies, which makes the Wizard's AoE damage in Diablo Immortal enormously strong - even stronger than that of the Demon Hunter. His single target damage, on the other hand, is rather mediocre. At the same time, the Wizard is very vulnerable to damage and the cooldowns of his abilities are quite long, you have to pay attention to your position in battle.

The Wizard is difficult to play, so it's more for professionals who have already gained experience with Diablo Immortal. However, if you master the wizard well, you'll deal huge damage with it, which you'll use to clear dungeons and portals very quickly.

Huge AoE damage and high mobility: this is the Sorceress.
