The photo mode in Marvel's Spider-Man has countless filters, frames and stickers for creating your best game moments. But what good are the best filters and stickers if the motif isn't right?

Photo Mode: The most important options
You can access Photo Mode at any time by pressing the Options button on the PS4 controller. To land cool shots, you'll need to focus on just three Photo Mode options at first.
- FOV(Field of View)
- Focus Distance (focusdistance)
- Aperture
The FOV slider controls the field of view, i.e. how much you can see on the current image section. If you want to take close-up pictures of Spider-Man, set the FOV slider very low. You can still move the camera freely with the right analog stick to capture the desired section of the image.
With the aperture you can add a blur effect to the background of the subject. Use the slider to adjust the strength of the effect
Focus Distance is used to determine how close to your subject - which is most likely Spider-Man - the blur effect starts. The lower the setting, the sooner the blur effect starts.
For the most cinematic look, use a low FOV (field of view), a high Aperture, and a low Focus Distance for a very blurry background.
Stickers, filters and frames for the comic look
Once you have captured the perfect motif, you can add your own personal touch with the help of countless stickers, filters and frames. Whether with logos from the Spider-Man universe, the typical comic book speech bubbles, Spider-Man smileys or simple hearts.
You have the possibility to create your own comic strip. There's even the option to use your motif as a comic cover.
One last tip: Once you've finished the main story, you'll have the option to change the time of day at the research stations. This way you can create the right lighting mood for your Spider-Man motif.
