  • What rewards await you
  • How to solve the Julfest quest series
  • How to complete the activities

In the current event Julfest of Assassin's Creed Valhalla you can get a new weapon and a complete armor set. There are also new cosmetic items to win. We'll show you how to collect enough festival tokens and solve the quest for the lost ale.

How do I start the Julfest in Assassin's Creed Valhalla?

Download the Assassin's Creed Valhalla update with version number 1.4.1.1. This includes the crossover DLC Interwoven Stories (Guide), in which you will meet Cassandra from Assassin's Creed Odyssey. To start the Julfest event, you'll need to build Tekla's Brewery. It will cost you 600 raw materials and 45 supplies. In return, your feast strength will improve and you will receive 25 more health points. Once the brewery is up and running, meet Norvid at the pier and he'll tell Eivor about the tasks ahead. He will also equip you with 15 feast tokens.

The following five quests and activities are free to choose from:

  • Brun's Folly (Drinking Game Contest)
  • Moving Targets (Archery Contest)
  • Jul Brawl (Fist Fight Contest)
  • Cow catcher
  • The day the beer disappeared

Tip: Complete the one-time quests "Cowcatcher" and "The Day the Beer Disappeared" first. Doing so will unlock new enemies for the Yule Brawl activity, allowing you to gain more festival tokens per run. You can complete the archery contest, drinking game, and brawl multiple times to increase your festive tokens account.

Julfest Quests: Cowcatcher and The Day the Beer Disappeared

Meet Alwin at Tekla's Brewery and he will task Eivor with finding the apprentice Aki. Travel to Grantabrycgscir and the forest west of the Utbech camp. Beware: if you haven't yet finished all the Order members in Assassin's Creed Valhalla (Guide), you will encounter a Zealot there. Climb the mountain and you will find Aki on the cliff. Beat him up and send him to the boat.

About 200 meters further east you will meet the robbers on the riverbank in Utbech. Infiltrate the camp from the northern side and sneak across the footbridge into the large hut. Climb through the window, as there are bones hanging from the main entrance, through which you will alert the guards. Take Tekla's barrel and make off with it. Run west to Aki's boat. As a reward you will receive 160 tokens and Aki will be available as an opponent for the Jul Brawl.

Meet Winfrid at the Hraefnathorp stockyard to start the Cowcatcher quest. After the conversation, follow Bertham to the riverbank. You are supposed to help him catch the escaped cows. Cross the river and run up the hill. Use Odin's sight and the raven to find the tracks of the cows. Afterwards, return to the cattle yard and you will receive 140 fixed tokens. You'll also unlock Bertham as an opponent in the Yule Brawl.

Julfest Activities: Moving Targets, Brun's Folly, and the Yule Brawl

To start the Moving Targets quest, talk to Thyrvi at the bridge next to the brewery. Hit as many moving targets as possible within the time limit. Green earns 15 points, orange 20, and red 25. Meet Brun at the big bonfire in the fairground. If you win the drinking contest, you get 15 festival tokens.

For the Jul Brawl, you must first talk to Sunnifa at the entrance to the fairground. After that, you will fight against different opponents in up to six rounds. If they get too close to you, they'll perform a strong punch combination or a throwing attack. Dodge and hit the attackers with side blows. If you win the competition, you will receive 100 fixed tokens.
