In our Diablo 3 guide totheSeason19 we tell you:
- What the new theme of the season is
- What the season has in store for you
- What changes you can expect with the new patch
After Season 18 of Diablo 3 said goodbye on November 10, Season 19 was launched on November 22.
The patch that prepares for the new season was released in advance of Season 19. It includes all the balance changes and the new sets for the Monk and Crusader. Those who had purchased a Virtual Ticket for BlizzCon can also enjoy the cosmetic wings to Lilith Embrace.
The theme of the season: Pandemonium
As announced in the Blizzard forums, the season theme is Pandemonium. Pandemonium is a permanent buff that gets stronger every time you kill an enemy. For subsequent kills you have a short time window of five seconds. These stacks, the stacks of this effect, provide special effects at regular intervals.
- 15 enemies killed: homing exploding chickens go off on your enemies.
- 30 enemies killed: A large-scale frost nova freezes enemies.
- 50 enemies killed: Corpses rain from the sky.
- 100 enemies killed: Five massive energy vortexes are unleashed.
- 150 enemies killed: Sinister geysers form among enemies.
- 200 enemies killed: Treasure chests fall from the sky.
- 300 enemies killed: A ring of fire engulfs everything.
- 400 enemies killed: Me teors fall from the sky.
- 500 enemies killed: Angels descend on the battlefield and join you. Angels can no longer kill portal guards with a single attack.
- 1.000 enemies killed: Diablo spawns as a boss.
To trigger the desired effect, you must exceed five seconds, thus ending your kill streak. Furthermore, your movement speed increases by 0.005 percent and your damage increases by 0.001 percent. The maximum speed is 50 percent, and the maximum damage is a full 100 percent. Only one effect is triggered in a group.
New Monk Set: Patterns of Justice
- 2-set bonus: The Tearing Wind ability gains the effect of each rune and increases your movement speed by 5% per stack.
- 4-Set Bonus: The Thunderstorm Front ability is strengthened. Your damage taken is reduced by 50% after using Thunderstorm Front, while your Spirit Power regeneration is increased by 50.
- 6-Set Bonus: A strengthened combination of the 2-set and 4-set bonus. If you hit with Thunderstorm Front while Rending Wind is active, you briefly increase the range of Rending Wind if you land at least 30 quick hits afterwards. Raging Wind does 15,000 percent more damage.
New Crusader Set: Aegis of Valor
- set of 2 bonus: Using Heaven's Fist will buff you, causing Heaven's Fury to deal 100 percent more damage for five seconds. You can stack the bonus three times.
- 4 Set Bonus: If you hit with Heaven's Fist, you regenerate 5 Fury and reduce damage taken by 1 percent for 5 seconds. You can stack this bonus 50 times.
- set of 6 Bonus: Increases the damage of Sky Fist and Sky Fury by 20,000 percent.
