Since recently, fans of the Middle Ages can play the new Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord in Early Access via Steam on PC. As in the predecessor Mount & Blade: Warband, there are again numerous cheats that make your life as an even simpler citizen easier. However, you have to activate the cheats first. How this works and which cheats are available to you, you will learn in this guide.

How to activate cheats in Mount & Blade: Bannerlord?
Before you can use the cheats to gain advantages in the game, you must first activate them in the corresponding game folder. To do this, open Windows Explorer and click Documents. There you will find the folder of Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord.
Open the subdirectory Configs and then the file engine_config.txt.
There you will find the parameter cheat_mode = 0 in line 14. Make the 0 a 1 and you can use cheats in Mount & Blade 2.
All Mount & Blade 2 cheats at a glance
Once you have activated the cheats, you can use various commands in the game. All known Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord cheats can be found in the following list:

| Ctrl H | Your character will be healed completely. |
| Ctrl Shift H | Your horse will be completely healed. |
| Ctrl F3 | Your own hero suffers damage. |
| Ctrl F4 | A randomly selected enemy becomes unconscious. |
| Ctrl Left Click | Teleports you to the targeted point on the world map. |
| Ctrl Alt T | The whole world map is revealed. |
| Ctrl Shift F3 | Your horse becomes unconscious. |
| Ctrl Alt F4 | All enemies become unconscious. |
| Ctrl F6 | An allied unit becomes unconscious. |
| Ctrl Alt F6 | All allied units become unconscious. |
| Ctrl F2 | One of your soldiers becomes unconscious. |

How do I get more money?
So far there is no known cheat that you can use to get more money. However, there is a trick to become the richest citizen of the Middle Ages in the shortest time.
Open the inventory with the cheat activated. On the left side, all items that are available in the game are listed. By clicking on the arrow next to the item, the desired object will move into your inventory and can be sold at a merchant.
What you should keep in mind when using the Mount & Blade 2 cheats
Before using the cheats, you should keep in mind that you will no longer be able to unlock achievements on Steam. So it's best to start a new savegame where you can let off steam. You might have to change the config file after each game start to be able to use the cheats.
Also, the cheats only work in the single player of Mount & Blade 2. The multiplayer runs completely without cheats to create the same conditions for all players.
