Fallout 76: Brew Station Quest - here's how to complete it easily!

With the first update of the new "Wild Appalachia" game content for Fallout 76, you'll get right down to the nitty-gritty as you follow in the footsteps of a Vault Tech University fraternity that created a legendary spirit.

In this guide you will learn, among other things:

At the end of the rather bizarre quest you unlock the brewing station for your own C.A.M.P. and can then start making alcohol yourself!

Find quest and explore frat house

Head to any station and look for a poster on the wall inviting you to the student party of the year. The easiest way to do this is to start at the Morgantown station or go straight to the fraternity house, which is located near the Vault-Tec University campus. There is also an appropriate poster hanging outside.

The fraternity house is where the party of the century takes place.

Once you enter the building, the quest "Crashed in Nukashine" begins, where you first have to find out what kind of strange stuff the party guests actually drank.
You'll find the necessary clue in "Ted's Terminal" in a room next to the stairs on the upper floor. Under "News" there is also an entry about "Nukashine", which you will read through to continue with the quest.

By the way: It's worth browsing through the other rooms if you want to know what students do with mannequins ..

Drink the special drink and find the whispering pub

Grab the bottle of Nukashine next to the terminal and then down with the glowing stuff! You'll spend the next two minutes intoxicated, and in the meantime you'll have to knock out some low-level burns who threaten to crash the one-man party as uninvited guests.

Afterwards, the intoxicating effect of the Nukashine beams you somewhere out in the sticks without you knowing how you got there. First, you now read the Nukashine label in your inventory (you'll find it by the items under "Notes") and receive a riddle with the following text:

There is a boy standing at our university, gray and old,
the stairs behind him are your first stop.
Behind the right corner look at the street,
on the left you will find the place of our meeting then.
There many a man has his skin decorated.
If you find the back door, you get a drink.

The ''gray and old'' boy is, of course, standing in front of Vault Tech University.

As a knowledgeable visitor to Appalachia, we of course know immediately that our journey begins at the Vault Boy statue in front of Vault-Tec University in Morgantown. Go up the stairs behind the statue, then pass the building on the right, and then just go to "Big Al's Tattoo Parlor," using the back door.

After that, pop open the Nuka Cola machine inside the building, this will open the way to the speakeasy. Go to the brewing cellar and talk to the bot "Al" rolling around there, who will give you the necessary information about Nukashine.

Find the Nukashine ingredients and the supply store password

First, read the ingredients list in your inventory (again, found under "Notes") to see that an ingredient is missing. Then follow the quest marker back to the neighborhood with the fraternity houses. In the Eta Psi house, go to the second floor and search Judy's terminal in her single room.

The entry "Supply Room" under "Personal Diary" provides you with the password for the previously locked room, which you enter back in the brewing cellar at the corresponding supply room door terminal. There you will also find the still unknown secret ingredient.

Note: This quest section is also worth a bit of rummaging, especially to get background info on Nukashine inventor Lewis.

In Judy's room, rummage through the terminal for clues.

Brew and test your own Nukashine

In the supply room, collect the nuclear material lying around and look at your ingredients list. For one unit of nukashine you will need

  • 5 wood
  • 2 boiled water
  • 5 blade grain
  • 5 corn
  • 1 Nuka-Cola Quantum
  • 3 Nuclear Material

The quest marker will lead you outside the tattoo store to a nearby field where you will collect a sufficient amount of blade grain, corn and wood. At the water pump by the barn, you'll tap dirty water, which you'll only need to boil at a boiling station. Alternatively, harvest corn and blade grain from the Community Garden at the Morgantown Airport if teammates have harvested the field.

The Nuka-Cola Quantum is a random find that you will usually discover from Nuka-Cola vending machines or as loot standing around in the open world. Once you've collected all the items, head back to the Whispering Tavern's brewing cellar.

There, go to work at the brewing station to make fermenting Nukashine in the Spirits tab. Speed up the somewhat explosive maturation process at the fermentation vat right next to the brewing station and finally give the fresh nukashine to Al for a taste test. With this you complete the quest and receive the C.A.M.P. blueprints for the brewing station and fermenting vat as well as some crown corks as a reward - done!
