Cheating officially not possible
So it's no wonder that many a player is looking for cheats, i.e. ways to cheat. While the alpha and beta versions of Kingdom Come: Deliverance still allowed some commands on the PC, the developers have disabled cheats in the full version.
So you can't simply conjure up huge amounts of pennies in your pocket or make your hero invincible.
How to activate the cheats
In the meantime, there is a way to cheat in Kingdom Come: Deliverance and make your life easier.
First of all, the following instructions for activating cheats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance only apply to the PC version. Those who enjoy the role-playing game on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will not be able to use the following commands. Also, keep in mind that using the cheats will greatly change the game experience. |
If you want to use the cheats, you'll first need the cheat mod for Kingdom Come: Deliverance, which you can download for free on the Nexus Mods website.

Installing the cheat mod
In the .zip file that you get, you will find a file called "zzz_cheat.pak". windows can open .zip files without an additional program.
You have to copy this file into the data directory of Kingdom Come: Deliverance. To find it, look for the folder where Steam is installed on your computer. This is the default directory where the game files are stored.
If you have changed this default setting, you will have to search in the corresponding directory that you have set.
Then copy this file to the following folder:
...SteamsteamappscommonKingdomComeDeliveranceData
How to activate cheats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Activation of the cheat mod
After the cheat file is in the correct directory, you still need to enable the cheats to work in the game.
To do this, change to the following directory, which can also be found in the game folder:
...SteamsteamappscommonKingdomComeDeliveranceBinWin64
There you will find an application file called "KingdomCome", which you can use to start the game with a double-click (provided Steam is started).
Right-click on this file and select the option "Create shortcut".
Now right-click this shortcut as well and select the "Properties" option.
In the window that opens, click in the line "Target" and go to the end of the line where it says "KingdomCome.exe". Click behind the ".exe", make a space and then write "-devmode" to it (without the quotes). After that click on Ok.
This is how you activate cheats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
After these steps, you can start the role-playing game via the newly created shortcut and use the cheats in Kingdom Come: Deliverance from this moment on.
How to open the console in Kingdom Come: Deliverance
Once you are in the game, you will need the developer console to enter the cheat commands or other console commands (such as activating the crosshairs when archery).
To open the so-called console in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you need to press the circumflex key (marked red in the image below) on your keyboard. The circumflex key can be found below the ESC key and to the left of the 1 key.

If you have copied the cheat file into the right folder, created the devmode shortcut and can open the developer console, you are ready to cheat your way through Kingdom Come: Deliverance.
Therefore, we will now give you the most practical commands that you can use to conjure up money or equipment that will make Heinrich immortal. Cheats can also be used to perfect his abilities in no time.
You simply have to enter the following commands into the console and confirm them with Enter to activate them.
Handy: You can simply copy texts from the browser with CTRL C and then paste them into Kingdom Come: Deliverance with CTRL V to save you typing.
Immortality & infinite stamina
Two of the most important cheats are immortality and infinite stamina, so that Heinrich won't take any damage from hits in battle and won't get tired if you keep hitting him.
- Immortality: cheat_add_buff_immortal
- Infinite stamina: cheat_set_regen enable:true state:stamina amount:100
(This cheat actually causes Heinrich to gain 100 points of stamina every second. So you never use up stamina even if you sprint or strike continuously)
Improve character stats
An immortal Henry already makes Kingdom Come: Deliverance much easier, of course. But it is just as exciting to change his character stats.
You can adjust the basic values strength, agility, vitality and eloquence, as well as the skills like riding, hunting or reading.

The maximum level you can set is 20 (as in the command examples). However, you can choose any value between 1 and 20.
After you have adjusted a character value or a skill via cheat, you will hear the same sound in Kingdom Come: Deliverance that you know from regular leveling up. You'll also unlock skill points, which you can use to add perks to your skills, as usual.
With the cheats you can easily set Henry's stats to the maximum of 20.
Cheats for equipment
With cheats you can not only improve Heinrich himself. You can also add new equipment to his inventory.
However, this cheat is a bit trickier than the cheats before, because you need to know the so-called item ID of the item you want to have.
So enter the following command in Kingdom Come: Deliverance and add the ID after the colon:

If you use the above command with an item ID, then you will get the item placed in the inventory once. However, if you want to cheat more arrows in Kingdom Come: Deliverance, for example, you can of course conjure up several directly.
To do this, make a space after the item ID in the command and add "amount:X" behind it (without quotation marks). You can replace the X with the number that represents the desired amount. So you have 200 arrows in your quiver.
By the way, there is already a detailed list of item IDs from Kingdom Come: Deliverance on the web, which you can use to find out how to get books, potions, weapons or armor. The list is in English, but it is structured in an understandable way.
Tip: Simply copy the item IDs and paste them into the developer console. This saves you the tedious typing and avoids mistakes.
The fight with the bailiff of a village is a piece of cake thanks to the best equipment.
More practical cheats for money, saving and more
Now that you have an invincible and well-equipped Henry, here are a few more cheats that will make your life in Kingdom Come: Deliverance easier:

| cheat_save | Creates a save state. So you can save the game at any time without sleeping or drinking savior liquor. |
| cheat_set_wanted_level level: | With this you can set the search level in the place you are currently in. Just add a number between 0 and 3 after the colon. 0: You are not wanted. 1: You are wanted for a fine. 2: You are wanted for a prison sentence. 3: You are wanted to be killed. Attention: If you set the search level to 3, for example, you can't simply lower it back to 2 or 1 by entering the command again! |

Cheating without additional software: Helpful console commands
