Where are the Collectibles on the map?
If you just started Need for Speed Heat, you can't see the collectibles on the map yet. Drive near them so that they are also marked on the map. There are three types of collectibles in Need for Speed Heat: billboards, graffiti (street art) and flamingos.
How to collect the billboards
The billboards are mostly easy to find, but you have to jump through them to "collect" them. First look for a ramp nearby, you will find one at most billboards. If there is no ramp, you should consider whether you can drive or jump through the billboard from above, i.e. from a hill or building.
In order to take a run-up for the ramps, you will very often have to start on unpaved roads. Therefore, a vehicle tuned for off-road is best for this task. Most of the billboards can be passed with a car with medium power, only for a few of them you will need a very high speed and jump height.
How to find the graffiti
The graffiti are harder to find than the billboards, but easier to collect. Most of them are located on remote walls of houses or under bridges.
To collect them, all you have to do is drive close enough to them and then press a button on the controller to collect them. Each graffiti you collect can then be used as a foil on your car.
This is where the flamingos hide
Like the graffiti, the 100 flamingos in Palm City are usually well hidden. You can find them in narrow alleys, sometimes in tunnels or other hard to reach corners. Note: If a flamingo is in a tunnel below you or on a bridge above you, the height difference is not visible on the map. To collect them, all you have to do is drive over the flamingos and destroy them.
Which cars should you use to collect the collectibles?
Generally speaking, an off-road car is the best choice for most collectibles. In addition to a problem-free approach to the billboards, you can also take shortcuts through forests and meadows and don't have to follow the imprecise GPS. The few billboards that can't be reached with the GPS can be picked up at the end of the collecting tour with your fastest car.

The Midwest: Frontera Hills & Edgewood Valley
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Frontera Hills | 6 | 8 | 6 |
Edgewood Valley | 5 | 8 | 5 |
Pay a visit to the beach in Frontera Hills with your off-road vehicle, it's worth it. With a courageous jump from the parking deck you'll land on the roof of the abandoned mall in Edgewood, where you'll find another flamingo.
The Center: Palm Coty Raceway & Sandino Ranches
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Palm City Raceway | 4 | 8 | 5 |
Sandino Ranches | 5 | 8 | 5 |
Palm City Raceway lets you test countless ramps, but also has some flamingos and graffiti hidden away. Southwest of the raceway in Sandino Ranches, you'll have a chance to take a massive jump at top speed through a billboard.
The Middle East: Mendoza Keys
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Mendoza Keys | 5 | 9 | 6 |
In Mendoza Keys, the Need for Speed version of the Florida Keys, you'll find lots of graffiti. But also the jump from the huge suspension bridge through a billboard is not to be sneezed at.
The Southwest: Port Murphy & Fairview Fields
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Port Murphy | 6 | 8 | 6 |
Fairview Fields | 5 | 8 | 6 |
In the shipyard of Port Murphy you will find a challenging collectible. Jumping through the containers over a ramp, you have to collect a graffiti at just the right moment. In Fairview Fields, a flamingo is waiting in a railroad tunnel - and not in the forest above, as it appears on the map.
The middle south: Cape Castille
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Cape Castille | 5 | 7 | 6 |
The Cape Castille spaceport is of course a reference to Cape Canaveral. Around the launch pad there are many collectibles to discover. You have to approach the billboard right next to the rocket at the right angle to reach it.
The Southeast: Grenada Wetlands
District | Billboards | Graffiti | Flamingos |
Grenada Wetlands | 5 | 8 | 5 |
When you think of the wetlands of Grenada Wetlands, of course you immediately think of the Everglades. For one of the flamingos you have to drive up the driveway of an apartment building, another one is waiting at the very top of the arch of a bridge, which fortunately is wide enough for a car.
