- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text you want to modify.
- Click the font size drop-down menu in the toolbar.
- Select the desired font size in the drop-down list.
- To change the style of the text, such as bold, italic, or underline, simply select the text and click the corresponding icon in the toolbar.
How to justify, align or line spacing text in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text you want to modify.
- Click the justification, alignment, or line spacing drop-down menu in the toolbar.
- Select option justify, align or line spacing that you want to apply to the text.
- Ready! Your text will now be justified, aligned or with the line spacing you chose.
How to change the text color in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text you want to modify.
- Click the “A” icon with a color below it in the toolbar.
- A color palette will open. Select the color that you want to apply to the text.
- The selected text will now have the color chosen one.
How to make indentations and lists in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- To indent, select the paragraph you want to indent and click the “Increase Indent” icon in the toolbar.
- To make a list, select the text and click the “Bullet” or “Numbering” icon in the toolbar.
- The selected text will now be indented or listed that you chose to apply.
How to add subscripts and superscripts in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text to which you want to add a subscript or superscript.
- Click the format menu and select "Subscript" or "Superscript."
- The selected text will now have the subscript or superscript that you chose to apply.
How to insert links and citations in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text you want to add a link or quote to.
- Click the “Insert Link” icon in the toolbar and paste the desired URL.
- To insert a quote, click on the “Insert” menu and select the “Quote” option.
- The selected text will now have the link or quote that you chose to apply.
How to adjust line spacing in Google Docs?
- Open the Google Docs document in your browser.
- Select the text you want to adjust the line spacing for.
- Click the format menu and select “Line Spacing.”
- The selected text will now have line spacing that you chose to apply.
