The open world of Horizon: Zero Dawn holds a few secrets. Among them are, for example, the energy cells for the Shield Weaver outfit. So-called metal flowers can also be found scattered everywhere. These are - as the name suggests - special mechanical plants that you can exchange for reward boxes at a specific merchant. We will give you information on where to find the metal flowers and other valuable tips.

How do I find the metal flowers?

A particularly easy one to find is the Metal Flower in the Ruins, which Aloy accidentally stumbles into as a child at the beginning of Horizon Zeron Dawn. Return to them when you can freely explore the open game world.

You can find the ruins at the southern end of the eastern world.

In the ruins, retrace your path and use the spear to make your way through a door blocked by a rock formation. In the room behind it, take the mechanical plant. The ruins can be found on the east side of the game world at the southern end of the map.

How the map helps you find the metal flowers

If you don't want to just stumble upon these collectibles by accident, we recommend that you purchase a map from merchants. They will show you the locations where you can find the metal flowers by means of map markings.

With the map you will receive markers that will narrow down where you can find the metal flower.

When you are near such a marker, look for pink flowers in a triangle formation. In the middle of them are the coveted metal flowers. Below we have included an example image for you.

What are the rewards for the metal flowers?

There are three different levels of metal flowers in total. Collect ten of each to exchange for reward boxes at the merchant Kudiv in Meridian . The screenshots below show you what the NPC looks like and where exactly you can find him.

Depending on the level of the metal flowers, you will receive valuable items in the boxes, which are not only cosmetic in nature, but also upgrade your equipment. Once you have exchanged all 30 metal flowers, you will even receive a trophy.

How do I find all the Banuk figures?

In addition to the metal flowers, there are other collectibles in Horizon: Zero Dawn, such as the coveted Banuk figurines. A total of six figures are scattered throughout the game world. To find them, you also buy the corresponding map from the merchant.

This delimits the search area on the map with white markers. As a rule, you will have to climb high mountain peaks to find the figures. Return to the collector's merchant in Meridian with all six figures to exchange them for 1500 metal shards and modifiers.

Collecting all Banuk figures will also earn you a trophy.
