The invaders led by Khotun Khan also bring parts of their culture to Japan. In the occupied areas you will find 50 artifacts of the Mongols. Of these, 17 are in the Izuhara region, another 17 in the Toyotama region, and 16 in the Kamigata region. Once you've bagged 20 of them, Ghost of Tsushima rewards you with the "Know Your Enemy" trophy.
In the total of 40 records spread around Tsushima, you'll read small and big stories. You'll learn more about Khotun Khan and the island's inhabitants. For every 20 records you find, you'll earn the "Bookworm" trophy. You'll find 16 scrolls in the Izuhara region, another 16 in the Toyotama region, and eight in the Kamigata region.
If you want to learn new songs for Jin's flute, it's best to find all 20 chirping crickets of Tsushima. They are usually hidden in cemeteries near towns or in forests. You can read about what to do with them in our Ghost of Tsushima tips guide. The Izuhara region is home to ten of the cages, seven are hidden in the Toyotama region and three in the Kamigata region.
You'll find Mongol artifacts in the areas they occupy.
In the course of the first act, you'll meet a monk in the Komatsu Forge who asks you to bring him back the lost banners of your homeland. There are a total of 80 Sashimono banners scattered around Tsushima Island. For each handful of banners, he will give you a new saddle and harness for your horse.
