Elden Ring: Brother Corhyn - Quest & Alternative Ending

In the quest for Brother Corhyn and the Golden Mask, you will get the opportunity for an alternate ending to Elden Ring. You will also receive a lot of powerful invocations. If you want your build to be faith-based, this is the place to be.

Meet Brother Corhyn in the Tablet of Grace

You will meet Brother Corhyn when you first enter the Tablet of Grace. Melina will send you there once you rest at the Sea Cliffs place of mercy in Liurnia the Lake Country. To do so, traverse the Legacy Dungeon Storm Veil Castle, defeat Boss Godrick (Guide), and exit through his throne room. Second meeting with Brother Corhyn in Altus Plateau

Once you have reached Altus Plateau via the Great Elevator of Dectus or the Ruin Strewn Abyss and then return to the Round Table Stronghold, Brother Corhyn will bid you farewell. He wants to go and find the Golden Mask. You will meet him at the Altus High Road afterwards. Walk north from the "Crossroads of Altus High Road" location and you'll find Corhyn on the side of the road, right next to where you found the map fragment there.

At the Crossroads of Altus High Road, take the path north and you'll meet Brother Corhyn at the wayside.

Find the Golden Mask

Brother Corhyn tells you at the Altus High Road meeting that he has not yet found the Golden Mask. Continue north along the road until you reach a broken bridge. There you will meet an Old Finger Reader, a Nomadic Merchant, and the place of mercy "Great Forest Bridge". Leave the portal on your left and cross the bridge.

Sneak north through the forest to avoid trouble with the worm faces until you reach the crossroads in front of Dominula, Windmill Village. Run through the gate and after the first building turn left. Follow the path and you will reach the Golden Mask on a shattered bridge.

Speak to the mute NPC and then return to Corhyn. Tell him about the Golden Mask, rest at a place of mercy and travel back to the shattered bridge. There you will now also find Corhyn. Talk to him and you can buy a new invocation from him.

You will find the Golden Mask on a broken bridge in the north of the Altus Plateau.

Find Brother Corhyn and Golden Mask in Leyndell

Once you have captured two Great Runes and defeated the Dragon Tree Guardian in Altus Plateau (Guide), you may enter the Royal Capital of Leyndell. In the southwest of the city is the Colosseum. There you will meet them again. You can reach it via the place of mercy "Street Balcony". From there you'll come to the petrified giant dragon and a vine, over which you'll reach the hill to the colosseum. Run to the left in front of the entrance and you will see the Golden Mask. Go through the dialogue with Corhyn.

The next meeting with Brother Corhyn and the Golden Mask will take place at the Coliseum in Leyndell

Find the Prayer Book of the Golden Order

The next step is to learn the sacred invocation "Law of Regression". For this you need the prayer book "Principles of the Golden Order". You will find it in Leyndell at the Refuge of the Earth Tree. Leave the Colosseum and return to the big root. Climb it again and this time keep to the left.

You will reach the boss arena to the golden apparition of Godfrey, First Eldenlord. Once you have eliminated Godfrey, run to the western exit, turn around and look up. There you will see a small throne with the prayer book on it.

Climb over the root outside the balcony to the upper floor and go through the archway on the right. Left over the railing you will reach an open window and behind it a root that will take you to the prayer book.

At the refuge of the Earth Tree you will find the Prayer Book of the Golden Order. But first you have to pass Godfrey.

Learn the Law of Regression and find Radagon's statue

Take the prayer book to Brother Corhyn and he will teach you the invocation "Law of Regression" for 10,000 runes. To cast it, you will need a Wisdom score of 37. If you are not skilled to Wisdom, seek out Rennala and use a Larval Tear to change your attributes (Guide).

Once you have enough Wisdom points and the Invocation equipped, return to the Earth Tree Refuge. Take the western exit and the elevator below the stairs. At the bottom, walk down the steps and see Radagon's statue.

On the floor you will find a note: "Only regression reveals secrets". Now trigger the invocation "Law of Regression", look at the statue again and then talk to the Golden Mask. You will receive the gesture "Entirety of Order". Afterwards you can study the invocation "Eternal Shield" with Corhyn.

Cast the invocation Law of Regression in front of Radagon's statue and you'll uncover one of the greatest secrets in Elden Ring.

Reach the Giants' Peak and Meet Corhyn

The next meeting takes place at the mountaintop of the giants. You will meet the Golden Mask and Brother Corhyn on a bridge south of the Stargazer Ruins. If you have played Ryas Quest (Guide) and still have the Potion of Oblivion with you, you can offer it to Corhyn. However, he will refuse it. Go through all the dialogue options and then continue the main quest.

On this bridge, you'll run into Corhyn and the Golden Mask on the Giants' Mountaintop.

Obtain Healing Rune of Perfect Order and Unlock Alternate Ending

Next, you'll need to defeat Boss Maliketh (Guide) to turn the Royal Capital into the Ashen Capital of Leyndell. Once you get there, run south until you reach the hill leading to the Coliseum. Run along to the left and you'll find the corpse of the Golden Mask leaning against a rock wall. Grab the Perfect Order healing rune. This will unlock one of the endings of Elden Ring (Guide).

If you return after resting in a place of grace, you'll also find the Armor of the Golden Mask. If you want the mask itself, you must return to the place where you first met the Golden Mask. At the southern end of the broken bridge, it lies by a corpse.

Complete Brother Corhyn's Quest

If you have offered Brother Corhyn the Potion of Oblivion, you will meet him one last time when you return to the last meeting place on the Giants' Mountaintop. Otherwise, you will find him near the Giant's Spear, where you will find the Elden Ring Legendary Weapon (Guide) "Lightning of Gransax." Return after the last conversation and you will find Corhyn's sound pearl, his robe and a flail.
