Rage 2: All cheats & where to find the cheat merchant

Since Rage 2 is a purely single-player game, you can use cheats to gain advantages in the wasteland. Like some of the cheats in Red Dead Redemption 2, you have to buy them in Rage 2 with the in-game currency "Dollar". However, not from the paperboy, but from a flying merchant.

However, his position in the open world changes constantly, since he is traveling with a hot air balloon. We have therefore compiled the known positions of the cheat trader on the map for you.

But be careful; once you activate the cheats, you will no longer be able to earn Trophies or Achievements. So save before you activate a cheat. This way you can simply reload the game state before activating the cheats and continue to unlock Trophies and Achievements in Rage 2.

Where to find the cheat trader "Mangoo" in Rage 2

The cheat dealer Mangoo always appears at one of the fixed locations in the game. However, his position is not marked on the map. Therefore, just keep your eyes open for the three large green balloons attached to his flying stall.

Since the location of his appearance is completely random, you may have to go to several of the points to find him. The best way to do this is to use the Icarus from Rage 2's fleet of vehicles. The hovercraft is the fastest way to get across the numerous canyons and mountain ranges of the open world.

In the rugged prairie, on the border of the wilderness, you can find the merchant Mangoo.

We have selected five places on the map where Mangoo can appear.

Quarry area

In the Quarry Area, you can find the cheat merchant next to the Lost Cause exploration location on the cliffs.

This is the place in the Quarry Area where the cheat merchant sometimes stays.

Ragged Prairie

Right on the edge of the wilderness, Mangoo keeps popping up in the rugged prairie. At the edge of the small area covered in white sand, you'll find his hot air balloon.

On the edge to the wilderness, Mangoo sets up store from time to time.

Wilderness

Even in the very north of the game world, the cheat merchant sometimes appears. This is on a small island in a lake, which lies directly in front of the entrance to the Abadon Sanctuary. There you will also find a Ranger Echo.

In the far north of the Wilderness, you can find Mangoo to buy cheats.

Sekreto March

In the swamp area - the Sekreto Marsh - Mangoo can also be found from time to time. There you can find him north of the bandit lair "Squelch" in a clearing.

In a clearing in Sekreto Marsh, Mangoo will sometimes sell you the cheats.

Dune Lake

In the southwest of Dune Lake, you can find Mangoo near the Shrouded High Command bandit lair behind the giant metal tower lying in the sand.

You can also find the merchant Mangoo in the Dune Lake area.

All cheats in Rage 2 and how to activate them

To get all the cheats, you will most likely have to visit Mangoo more than once. This is because his range of available che ats changes randomly. During one of our visits, he even had only one cheat code for sale.

Mangoo's offer is different every time you visit him.

Below we list all the cheat codes known so far and what they cost you. For two of the cheat codes, it's not yet clear how much dollars you'll have to spend on them. Both "Klegg Support" and "Phoenix Ejector Seat" have not yet appeared in the retailer's offer. However, both codes are mentioned by publisher Bethesda in the promotional materials.

To activate the cheats, simply go to the pause menu. You'll find the cheats under "Settings", where you can turn them on and off.
