Far Cry 5: All outposts and where to find them

The open-world shooter Far Cry 5 sends you to the fictional Hope County in Montana, where you have to put a stop to a militant sect called Eden's Gate.

The fanatics under their guru Joseph Seed have divided the area into three large regions, which are controlled by Seed's lieutenants. In order to keep the population in check, Eden's Gate has also set up outposts everywhere the god fighters are stationed.

We'll tell you how to best excavate them in our tips on how to capture enemy bases.

All outposts in Far Cry 5

As in previous Far Cry games, you have to liberate a total of 21 outposts in Hope County during the course of the game. This will earn you 400 points per outpost for your resistance account, which will gradually increase your resistance level and unlock new story missions.

You can usually recognize the outposts relatively easily, because dark smoke rises from them. This way you can already see where the next base is waiting at a distance of several meters, or don't run into it carelessly.
