Elex Weapons: All the information and good starting weapons

Right after the intro sequence, Elex throws your hero into its game world, dressed in a few rags, without any weapons or special abilities.

But since the adventure is hard enough even with equipment, we want to give you some tips on how to quickly get swords, axes, bows, etc., because already in the starting areas some weapons are hidden, but also the first of the 41 teleporters in the game world of Elex. Meanwhile, our detailed Elex skill guide will tell you how to use them perfectly.

Tutorial area

In the closed and still quite harmless tutorial area, there are already the first combat tools. First of all, you'll find a rusty pipe that you can use as a club.

In the building, in front of which you have to deal with two big rats, a bow is placed in the first room on the left side. It doesn't deal too much damage compared to later weapons, but it is quite powerful at the beginning of the journey.

Goliet

Goliet, the city of the Berserkers, is pretty much the first stop you'll head to - simply because the Berserker Duras is the first one you'll encounter and offers to lead you there. Our detailed faction guide in the video will tell you what other factions there are in the game world.

There are two merchants positioned in the city, a weapon merchant and an armor merchant. These two are accordingly the easiest way to quickly get better armor and armor. Provided, of course, that you have enough cash in your pocket. Here's what they have to offer:

In Goliet, you can also steal weapons and equipment from houses here and there. However, you should not be caught stealing, as we have already explained in our 12 beginner's tips for Elex.

In Angrim's house, for example, there is a horn sword hanging on the wall. To use it, however, you need 28 strength and 28 skill.

In Sinda's store there is a sword called Snakebite. You can steal that too, but it requires 30 Strength and 60 Dexterity.

Magalan

West of Goliet you can find a small camp. A troll lives there and throws boulders at you. But if you're fast enough, you can pick up a war bow in the camp, but it requires 34 Strength and 53 Dexterity to use.

East of the domed city you will come across the ruins of a gas station. Just follow the paved road east from the domed city. There you can find a Mace I, which requires 52 Strength and 26 Constitution, but even allows two upgrades later.

In the domed city you will also hear for the first time about a converter, where an Alb separatist resides. A plasma rifle awaits you on the upper floors, requiring 39 Dexterity and 27 Intelligence. Be careful when traveling there, though, because the area is also home to some strong monsters.

When you eventually make your way to the Outlaws, head south from Tavar. In one of the smaller domes there in the area, you'll encounter the character Rider (this one is part of a quest). The guy has a chainsaw sword in his possession, which careful longfingers can collect. However, in order to use it, your hero must have a score of 31 on both Strength and Dexterity.
