Need for Speed Payback: Wreck sold, what can you do?

Need for Speed Payback sends you on a search for a total of five wrecks of cool classic cars in its open world. The search and subsequent restoration of the sleds can be quite tedious and time-consuming. Unless you check out our guide to all the wreck locations.

The wrecks consist of chassis and four parts. As soon as you have all five pieces of the car puzzle together, you can rebuild the cars and then dedicate yourself to the optical tuning and performance improvements - until your dream car is virtually in front of you.

Wreck sold by mistake, what now?

In the internet forum Reddit, however, the first embarrassments have now surfaced: At the car dealers in Need for Speed Payback, you can not only buy new horsepower-slingers, you can also flog your existing carts.

This makes sense if you want to buy one of the expensive noble sports cars. But it can quickly go to shit if you accidentally turn the painstakingly assembled wreck into cash.

But don't panic, a sold Chevrolet Bel Air 1955, Ford Mustang 1965, NISSAN Fairlady ZG 1971, Chevrolet C10 Stepside Pickup 1965 or VW Beetle 1963 is not automatically lost forever in Need for Speed Payback.

How to get your beloved wreck back

To put the lost classic car back into your garage, you only have to fulfill one important requirement: As soon as you have found all five wrecks in the game world, you will be allowed to buy them from the car dealers quite regularly from now on.

So if you have a garage full of legendary racers, but you accidentally move the 1965 Ford Mustang, all you have to do is go to the appropriate dealer (i.e. Racer, Runner, Drag, Outdoor or Drift) to buy the car again in the appropriate vehicle class. After that, you can get back to tuning in Need for Speed Payback.

Admittedly: It's tedious, but it's better than losing the car completely. Maybe our beginner tips for Need for Speed Payback will help you to get ahead a bit faster.
