In Paper Mario: The Origami King for the Nintendo Switch, you'll find yourself in Shogunland - a huge amusement park full of folding characters, secrets and puzzles. The search for the palace key will take you through the House of Insidiousness, where you'll have to prove your ninja skills.

Your task: track down a total of 25 ninjas in their hiding places without getting caught by the deadly traps. It doesn't matter how many ninjas you find for the main story. However, if you manage to track down all 25 ninjas, you will be rewarded with a Treasure Mini. With our ninja guide you will never miss a ninja in the course.

Ninja locations in the entrance area

  • Ninja #1: Enter the entrance area and hit the right part of the back wall with the hammer. You can't miss the first ninja, because without it you can't move on.

Hit the wall with your hammer to open the secret door.

Where are the ninjas hidden in the first room?

  • Ninja#2: Hit the lamp in the front right with your hammer.
  • Ninja#3: Hit the table in the middle of the room with the hammer.
  • Ninja#4: Open the big crate and pull out the ninja.

The ninjas are hiding everywhere

  • Ninja#5: Open the door right next to the big crate.
  • Ninja#6: Open the door at the far right and pull the rope.

  • Ninja#7: Close the closet door and open the door to the left.
  • Ninja#8: Pull the rope at the very back left. After that you can pull the mural and leave the room.

Ninja locations in the big room with the round windows

  • Ninja#9-13: A total of 5 ninjas are hiding under the floor tiles and will pop up as soon as you approach them. Run around the room until you find them all. There are also Faltschergen hiding under some of the floor tiles.

You will not be able to escape the Faltschergen.

  • Ninja #14: Hit the back wall at the right end of the room with the hammer. Through a hidden rotating element you will reach a corridor. Pull the rope before you continue.

All ninjas in the double-story room without windows

  • Ninja#15-17: In the room after the garden area (don't forget to free the green man for the main story), spears (and sometimes ninjas) shoot out of the ground in most places as you approach the edges of a floor panel. You will find the first ninja in front of the door you came through. Carefully make your way through the room. The target is the back left corner. Another ninja is in the back center. The third one appears at the back left under the two lanterns.

  • Ninja#18: Hit the left segment of the back wall with the hammer and pull the rope.
  • Ninja #19: Climb the stairs, run to the left, then forward and hit the light gray stone block.
  • Ninja #20: Run all the way to the right and one segment further forward. Hit the wall on the right.

Move carefully through the room to avoid getting hit by the spears.

  • Ninja#21: Run to the left, to the very front, jump over the gap and run to the very right again. Hit the air with the hammer. Four invisible ?-blocks form a bridge to the chest.
  • Ninja #22-23: Run to the left and drop down through the gap. Towards the center of the room are two ninjas.

Ninja Finds in the Room with the Red Shelf

  • Ninja#24: Close the door you came through.

The last ninja is hiding in the drawer.

  • Ninja#25: Hit the loose floorboard in the front right with the hammer and then hit the drawers from right to left, opening them one by one until you get the treasure Mini. Now hit the last drawer again. The last ninja is hiding there.

Congratulations, you have found all 25 ninjas in the House of Insidiousness. As a reward for a perfect score, you will receive a Treasure Mini at the end.
