Four seasons provide variety in gameplay

The seasons also have an effect on the handling of the vehicles, so your car will start skidding on snow or in muddy puddles. In addition, there is the dynamic weather system, which lets you experience the rainy weather of Great Britain up close.

Every week, or more precisely every Thursday at 16:30, the season changes for all players. Along with this, there are always new seasonal events and challenges of the #Forzathon.

#Forzathon: Daily and Weekly Challenges

Forza Horizon 4 sees the return of the #Forzathons familiar from the predecessor. These are daily and weekly tasks, for the successful completion of which you will receive #Forzathon points. These points can be exchanged for cars, wheelspins and cosmetic items in the #Forzathon store. The store's offer changes regularly.

If you play online, you can also participate in the so-called #Forzathon live events every hour. These events - similar to the public events in Destiny 2 - are held together with your fellow players. An event includes three tasks, such as speed cameras, drift zones and danger signs.

As a reward, you also get points for the #Forzathon store.

Online multiplayer with 72 players in Forza Horizon 4

Forza Horizon 4 offers a so-called "Shared World" for the first time in the seriesthis means that when you play online, up to 72 players including you can play in the open world. To prevent trolls in the online game, the vehicle collision is deactivated in the open world, but can be activated when playing with friends.

Once you go offline, the real drivers are simply replaced with the familiar "Drivatars" from the Forza series, so you shouldn't notice any difference. Drivatars are AI images of real players. Forza creates AI drivers from the driving behavior of real players, who then populate the offline game worlds.

However, the standard races are still held against the Drivatars. If you want to compete against your friends or players from around the world in races or games, you can do so via the menu in Team Adventures.
