In Chernobylite you can rely on a quirky, but quite capable team of companions - if you can find them. In this guide, we'll show you how to get this bizarre bunch to join you.

Chernobylite companion: Olivier, the silent killer

Olivier is at your side from the beginning and serves as an advisor. As mentioned in our Chernobylite tips guide, you should always get in good with him. He will equip you with the first weapon in the game, give you useful tips and teach you the "Shocking" skill, which is important for silent overpowering.

Mikhail, the hunter-gatherer

If Mikhail reports on the radio in the base, accept his proposal. During the mission you will have the opportunity to search the database. Don't do that and destroy the database instead. After that, Mikhail will contact you back at the base. During the mission "Mikhail in Trouble" you will have to rescue him from a house full of gas.

You will find the necessary gas mask in the building next to the quest marker. Put it on and enter the house where Mikhail is trapped. Go down the stairs and follow the apparition until you meet Mikhail in the room across from the gas barrels. Kill the monsters and take him outside. Decide to include him in the team and return to the base. Mikhail is the most impulsive of the Chernobylite companions. In the course of the game you'll like to clash. However, don't kick him out of the team. He will always be useful.

Tarakan, the master of camouflage

Once Tarakan answers the radio, complete his missions until he wants to meet Igor at the Prypyat port. Run to the marked building and kill the three NAR soldiers around it as silently as possible. Go up to the third floor and memorize the way to Tarakan well. Talk to him and decide to burn the documents. During the fire, run back the way you came.

Later, Tarakan will radio and call for help. Accept the mission "The trail" and travel to Kapachi. Equip yourself with enough weapons, ammunition and healing ointments - you are in for a big fight. Follow the trail of dead rats and kill all NAR soldiers you meet on the way. Free Tarakan and ask him to join you.

Olga ensures discipline and order

If you are in Kapachi for the first time, run to the big ruin and jump into the basement. There you will meet a stranger. Decide to help Konstanty. Later Olga will call you on the radio. Accept the mission "The Voice in the Forest" and travel to the Red Forest. Move to the northeastern part of the forest and talk to the guard at the gate to the village. Olga will let you in. Talk to her as well and accept the mission.

Konstanty is located in the southwest at the railroad station. Kill the soldiers, go into the building and descend into the basement. Talk to Konstanty and decide to release him. After that return to Olga. Konstanty will intercept you at the gate. Go along with his plan. Go to the village, talk to Olga and ask her to join you.

Sashko, the parkour pro

Although you'll meet him very early in the game, Sashko is the last of the Chernobylite companions you can recruit. As soon as he answers the radio, accept his mission "The Last Test" and travel to the port of Prypyat. Climb on the roof of the marked house and read the note.

Then run to the hospital and go up to the third floor. On the way you will meet some heavily armored soldiers. At the top, Sashko will be waiting for you. Jump out of the window as he wants and he will join you.
