The 7 most beautiful maps for Humankind

Huge Earth

User oscar3005 is currently working on a map that is based on the real world map. However, it's not a 1-to-1 conversion of the Earth, instead oscar3005 wants to enhance the individual areas with additional natural features such as cliffs or mountain passes and thus make them more interesting. The impressive map is not quite finished yet and will be updated regularly, but definitely worth a look right now.

Huge Azeroth

WoW fans take note, Huge Azeroth brings Blizzard's popular fantasy world to Humankind. Well-known areas and cities like Pandaria, Stormwind or Orgrimmar, the capital of the Orcs, serve as spawn points.

Detailed Fantasy: Westeros

If you've always wanted to conquer all of Westeros, you can now do it in Humankind thanks to Tyrant_lord. The individual locations of the houses from Game of Thrones serve as spawn points. House Martell starts in Dorne, of course, while House Greyjoy begins its campaign from the Iron Islands. With a few friends, you can set up a small role-playing game round and fight together or against each other for Westeros.

If the randomly generated maps in Humankind are too boring for you, you should try one of the numerous community maps.

Tamriel

  • Creator: Dimonoider
  • Download the game: Tamriel

Tamriel is the main continent of the Elder Scrolls seriesthe northern province of Himmelsrand in particular will be familiar to role-playing game fans from The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Dimonoider has taken the map data from the MMO The Elder Scrolls Online as a model for the Humankind map and recreated the individual areas as faithfully as possible.

Pangaea Proxima

The user AlexandrianCodex takes you to Pangaea Proxima, a possible future supercontinent, which according to researchers could arise within the next 300 million years. What is particularly exciting is the attention to detail with which the map was created - climate, topography and distribution of resources are as close as possible to today's projections for the supercontinent. AlexandrianCodex cites the National Geographic Magazine, among others, as research sources, on whose maps of Pangaea Proxima this Humankind map is based.

This is Sparta!

The This is Sparta! map depicts ancient Greece in great detail with all the small island groups. On the map two empires can compete against each other and replay the battle of King Leonidas of Sparta against Alexander the Great of Macedonia.

The Lord of the Rings

The fantasy world par excellence can't be missing among the coolest maps for Humankind. Stonewall1815 has not only created Middle Earth from The Lord of the Rings, but also the two continents Numenor and Aman (also known as "The Immortal Lands"). Build even great fortresses like Minas Tirith, Barad-dûr or Helm's Deep and fight for the rule of Middle-earth.
