How do I ignite the four furnaces in Baur's Lace?

Baurs Spitze is covered with freezing cold, which you have to dispel. First, wake up the big bear with a flap of Ku's feather. Once he has cleared the way, hop on his back and enter his realm. You'll have to light a total of four stoves to bring warmth back to the land.

Frosty climate and uncomfortable monsters await you on Baur's top.

Near each furnace is a cauldron on glowing coals. Use the Flutter ability to draw fire shrapnel from the cauldron with Ku's Feather. Intercept these fireballs with a poke attack from the Throwing Hook and redirect them directly into the furnace. We'll show you where to find the Throwing Hook in our Ori and the Will of the Wisps guide to the quest "The Lost Compass".

At the first furnace you only have a short distance to cover. At the second furnace you have to intercept the fireballs in the air with a push attack and extend it again. Catch it at the highest point of the frozen sand and again from the second rock.

Aim quite high in each case so you have enough time to run after it. Stove number three is one floor below the cauldron. Light the fire and immediately jump into the ravine to the left of the cauldron. Catch the fire shrapnel just before it hits the ground and direct it into the furnace to your left.

This is how you open the ghost gate and find the beam of light

To the right of the third furnace, you'll find a ghost gate that requires four keystones. Let the thawed tongue next to the furnace pull you up and grab the first keystone on the right. Wait for a shrapnel to fall down on the left and use it to push yourself up.

Wake up the gentle giant Baur in Ori and the Will of the Wisps with a feather,

Hang in the blue flower and use another shrapnel to get to the right. Between the spikes you will find the second keystone. Hop down and with a sprint immediately back to the right in front of the cauldron. Climb the bar to the right and grab the third keystone from the small cave behind the waterfall.

Climb the bar all the way to the left and catapult yourself up with a swinging kick. Don't let go of the bar until a shrapnel is fired. Hook on to the highest point if possible and push off upwards to reach the fourth keystone. Glide straight down and place the keystones in the ghost gate.

You can handle the icy climate on Baur's top with a few stoves.

When you have passed the ghost gate, jump over the small ravine and go down to the left in front of the hut. Absorb the light from the tree and you'll get the Ghost Shard Light Ray. You can use the light ray to melt ice walls and light candles. You can also use your throwing hook's shock attack on the Light Ray's shrapnel.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps: Darkness in the Moldy Forest Depths

Always stay close to light in the Mildew Depths, or the darkness will swallow you. The pulsating yellow orbs release fire moths when you open them with an attack.

These fire moths fly off a certain distance and then fizzle out into ghost lights. Follow them and you'll be safe. The presence of glowing enemies will also protect you from the darkness. Use them as a kind of torch by catapulting them into a dark area with the thrust attack of your throwing hook.

Where can I find the Ghost Shard Lightning?

Once you have reached the Ghost Portal in the Moldy Forest Depths, shoot an arrow at the Fire Moth Nest in the upper left and follow the yellow light down. Glide along the depths of the cave with Ku's feather.

Always stay near the light in the mold forest depths.

The beetle will take you to the next nest. Open it and follow the fire moth until the green crawling beetles attack you. Now use them as a lantern. Throw one of the crawling beetles to the left with the throwing hook until you reach another fire moth nest.

Open it and glide down in the safe glow of the beetle. The beetle will take you to a blue trampoline. Jump up and sprint left at the highest point into the light of a ghost test pillar.

Pull the blue light plant out of the ceiling and jump over the wall opposite to the next platform. A life cell fragment offers you protection there - but only as long as you don't collect it. Once you have it, quickly drop back down.

Once you have found the Ghost Shard Lightning, the darkness can no longer harm you.

Jump over the trampoline to the right and swing over the luminous plants on the ceiling with the throwing hook. You will arrive in a bright area where mosquitoes are attacking you.

Swing over the luminous plants to the right. From the platform with the glowing mushrooms, continue up to the left. Before you free the fire moth, quickly jump to the left and activate the ghost test platform.

Then follow the fire moth back to the right, past the glowing mushrooms. It will lead you directly to the energy tree, which contains the Ghost Shard "Lightning". With this you can - provided you have enough energy reserves - walk through the darkness unharmed.

How to find the Wisp of the Moldy Forest Depths

Return to the glowing mushrooms and from there move diagonally down to the left. At the cave intersection keep to the left. On the right edge of the cave section you will find the cartographer Lupo, who will provide you with a map of the cave labyrinth.

The giant spider Mora leaves you with the Wisp of the Moldy Forest Depths.

Equipped with Lupo's map, you will now see how to get to the Wisp. First, search all the gray areas on the map. You'll find another Ghost Shard and a mysterious seed for Tuley. Then move back up towards the ghost portal.

From there, continue to the right. Before you reach the will-o'-the-wisp, you will first meet the giant spider Mora. You can read how to defeat her in our boss guide to Ori and the Will of the Wisps. You will receive the will-o'-the-wisp "Eyes of the Forest" as soon as you have freed Mora from decay.

How do I get to the Lumaseen in Ori and the Will of the Wisps?

Take the path to the Lumaseen south of the Ghost Portal in Ink Bog. Dive down to the big water wheel and from there jump onto the platform above you. Jump as high as you can and glide to the other shore with Ku's feather.

You'll enter the Lumasee and a Moki will greet you with the side quest "Kwolok's Wisdom". Use the rising bubbles to reach the top. In the upper left corner, you'll find a switch that opens a stone gate at the very bottom left.

Here you will find Kwolok in the Luma Lakes

After the stone gate, go left in the upper area and meet Tokk. Jump into the water and dive down past the sunken ghost portal. There you will find underwater plants blocking your way. If you swim to the blue glowing bushes, a sound will be heard and the plants will clear the way for a short time.

The Luma Lakes in Ori and the Will of the Wisps are a paradisiacal place full of danger.

First swim to the ostrich on the right, then to the one above it. Through the uncovered opening you can reach the ostrich in the small cave on the far right. It opens the floor and the water sinks a bit. Now you can use the ghost portal.

Dive down through the opening and lure one of the fish from the cave on the lower left. It will immediately start chasing you. Guide it up to the left, to the purple barrier. If he crashes into it, it will break and you can jump up over a rising bubble.

The next area closes its gates as soon as you enter it and only opens them again after you have killed a few monsters. Go left through the opened gate and jump over a beam of light onto the platform at the top left. There you will find the Ghost Shard "Energy Harvest" and opposite it a Ghost Race Portal.

Dive down, open the water plants again with the bouquets and lure one of the explosive fish into the purple barrier on the upper right. There you will meet Lupo, the cartographer. With his map you can see the way to the will-o'-the-wisp. Swim to the next section of the map and dive up there. Here you will meet Kwolok.

How to find the stone keys in the luma lakes

Since the way left to the ghost portal is blocked by falling stones, you can't follow Kwolok. After the mighty frog disappears, jump back into the water and direct a shrapnel of the biting underwater plant into the starfish right next to it. Use the rising bubbles to get to the platform at the top.

In the Luma Lakes, go in search of the giant frog Kwolok.

Climb the wall on the far right, hang on the lamp and jump to the next small area on the left. Wait for an air bubble to rise and glide onto it. At the highest point sprint to the right and from the wall jump to the left again. Jump into the water and guide an explosive fish into the cave on the left.

Jump out of the water and hook onto the fish with a thrust attack to get to the first keystone. Dive up and jump onto the trampoline on the left bank. Use a beam of light to reach the second stone key on the ceiling. The next two stone keys can be reached a bit further to the right, also with the light beam.

Insert the four keystones into the ghost gate a few meters to the right and you will reach an energy tree. With the ghost shard "Water Sprint" contained in it you can get past the falling stones in the direction of the ghost portal. Follow the path to the Wisp and you'll encounter a possessed Kwolok.

The rot has returned. How to defeat it, you can read in our Boss Guide to Ori and the Will of the Wisps. With the power of the forest, you will have gathered the wisps needed to enter the gate in the Windy Desert. Before that, return to the Moki at the entrance to the Luma Lakes and tell him about Kwolok to complete the quest "the Wisdom of Kwolok".
