The cheats work on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. When the versions for the next-gen consoles PS5 and Xbox Series X/S are released in 2022, you will probably be able to use the codes there as well.
How do I enter the GTA 5 cheats on PC and console?
But before we tell you the cheat codes, here are a few hints first:
- To activate cheats in GTA 5, all you have to do on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 3 and on Xbox One or Xbox 360 is press the enumerated buttons in the correct order. For the directions, use the digital directional pad.
- On the PC, the simplest option is to open your character's smartphone and then dial the displayed phone number and make a call. However, this also works on the consoles. Also: to activate the previously entered cheat again, you can select the asterisk in the smartphone.
- Once you activate a cheat, you will no longer be able to collect achievements and trophies, whether on console or PC. Only when you deactivate the cheat again, you can continue to collect achievements.
- Therefore, a tip: Before you devastate the open game world with the cheats, you should save so that you have a save game before cheating.
- The cheats only work in the single player mode of GTA 5. The online mode of Grand Theft Auto 5 does not offer the possibility that you trick with such codes.
