Planet Zoo: How does the Steam Workshop work?

To download objects from the workshop, select Planet Zoo in your Steam library and then click on the sub-item "Workshop". Here you can filter by buildings and additionally view the ratings of other players. Now select an element that you would like to use. Click the "Subscribe" button to start the download. In order for your new objects to become visible in Planet Zoo, it may be necessary to restart the game.

After you are logged into the game, you can see the designs you have saved under "Building Plans " - "Steam Workshop". Click on the building to place it in your zoo. Note, however, that you will have to take care of the paths and power supply yourself.
