Caution is generally advised when it comes to games based on movies or comics. So it's all the more pleasing that Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has become such an ingenious game adaptation. The game captures the exact vibe of the Guardians of the Galaxy movies and also offers really good gameplay.

You take on the role of Star-Lord and shoot your way through the galaxy in the best action style. Star-Lord's loyal companions Gamora, Rocket Raccoon, Groot and Drax can't be controlled directly, but you can give them orders on the battlefield so that they support you in battle with their special abilities.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade

Already on the PS4 Final Fantasy 7 Remake was a real blast, but on the PS5 our jaws really dropped: barely noticeable loading times, higher resolution textures, improved lighting effects, a graphics and performance mode and not to forget the Yuffie bonus episode. For gamers who celebrated the original back in 1997, Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade is a must-have. For those who haven't had anything to do with the legendary Japanese role-playing series, the game is the perfect introduction.

In the game, you take on the role of Cloud Strife, who, together with the eco-terrorists from Avelanche, tries to stop the exploitation of the planet by the Shinra corporation. Of course, the megacorporation won't put up with this and will send a lot of its henchmen against your troop. You'll beat them up in turn-based battles either with weapons, spells or the help of powerful espers. And as if that wasn't hard enough, Cloud also has a score to settle with the mysterious super soldier Sephiroth ..

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut is a totally insane game in which you take on the role of a psychologically cracked protagonist. He wakes up one morning after a night of drinking and has lost his entire memory. You start searching for clues and find out that you are a police officer. With a lot of alcohol left in your blood you have to solve a murder. So much for the setting.

In order to solve the murder, you talk to all sorts of strange characters. The special thing about Disco Elysium: The game doesn't try to force a certain role on you at any point. In the dialogs you can give wonderfully weird answers that you would never say in ordinary games. In Disco Elysium, however, it is precisely these confused dialog options that can lead to new insights.

The game is absolutely unpredictable, and that's exactly what makes it so appealing. You probably won't understand anything at the beginning. But the longer you play, the more you'll understand what makes your main character tick and how to track down the culprit. Don't miss out on this refreshingly different role-playing game.
