Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy: Find all archives

If you want to collect all collectibles in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy, you won't get past the archive entries. The small orbs are easy to miss and are also not detected by Peter's Visor. In this guide we describe the exact locations of the archives so that you can fill the Galactic Compendium and collect one of the coveted gold trophies.
What trophy do I get for the Archive Collectibles in Guardians of the Galaxy?
The Archives are part of the Galactic Compendium, which also includes the Guardians collectibles in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy (Guide). In total, you'll need to unlock 65 percent of all entries to unlock the Gold Trophy "Collector of Knowledge."
You won't be able to collect all the archives in one go, as you'll have to take an alternate route for a few of them. The archives in question are in Chapters 4 and 7, and you can read about how to unlock the corresponding alternate routes in our guide to the choices in Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy.
Chapter 1: Mining Ship Wreck - 7 Archives

| Team Costumes | Milano | Enter Rocket's cabin on the Milano. The archive entry is on the floor to the right. |
| Nano Resin Incident Report | Landing site | After landing, keep left and jump onto the elevation. There the archive entry lies on a crate. |
| Pride and Demise | Mining ship wreck | The archive entry is at the left end of the shipwreck, which you enter after the first ramp. |
| QZ Disposal | Mining Shipwreck | After you destroy the first mushroom and invite Rocket Peter to a shootout, you enter a wreck. The archive entry is on the right side on the ground. |
| Sending the message failed | Mining ship wreck | Once you've fended off the first attack, continue across a platform. The entry lies at the top of the railing opposite the crumbling material. |
| Unthinkable | Robot skull | In the cage inside the robot skull lies the archive entry. |
| A miracle! | Mining ship wreck | The archive entry is located by the pipes in the big hall after the Shollock fight. |
In the Quarantine Zone, you will find a total of six archives for the Galactic Compendium in Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy.
Chapter 3: The Price of Freedom - 3 Archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| Collateral Damage | Monster Arena | After the fight against the Jackogels, exit the arena via the shipwreck. The archive entry is by the stones to the left of the path. |
| Under the radar | Monster Arena | The archive entry is on the wreckage you have to climb over after the fight with the decay beast. |
| Stupid Job | Shipwreck | After Peter gets his first elemental shot, continue over a shipwreck. The archive entry lies by the wreckage. |
There are three archives to find on the way to Lady Hellbender's palace.
Chapter 4: The Monster Queen - 4 Archives

| Don't do it! | Lady Hellbender's Throne Room | You can only find this entry if you sell Groot. Sneak past the drunken guards and go right in the throne room after the entrance. The archive entry is on the stone parapet. |
| Unknown Ghilarion Species | Lady Hellbender's Treasury | You can only find this entry if you sell Rocket. It is located in Lady Hellbender's Treasury right before the exit. |
| Drones | Storage room | You can only find this entry if you sell Rocket. While escaping from the drone, Rocket and Gamora argue. Keep to the right and pick up the archive entry by the crates. |
| Care of our protégés | Monster Enclosure | You will only get this entry if you sell Groot. When you reach the monster enclosures, you will find the archive entry on a hay bale across from Groot's cell. |
In Chapter 4 of Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy, there are two walkthroughs where you will find different archives 
Chapter 5: Due or Dead - 3 Archives

| Golden Force | Waiting Area | At Nova Station Rock, go through the front left door in the waiting room and pick up the archive entry from the desk. |
| Elevator A23 | Corridor | The archive entry is in the corridor under some crates just before the armory. |
| Memo: Suit Log | Armory | If you are standing in the Armory side room in front of the Nova Armor, the Archive entry is on the right by the monitor. |
You won't find anyone at Nova Station Rock, but there are three archives to find.
Chapter 6: One skirt does not make a furlough - 4 archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| Operating costs | Side alley | Go down the stairs to the right of the Emporium and follow the path until you come to a railing with a red male leaning against it. Descend the steps, follow the corridor and pick up the archive entry from the yellow crate. |
| Nothing | Viewpoint Crack | On the platform to Drax's right, the archive entry is on the ground in front of the two tourists. |
| Egghead Critiques: Spirit Tree | Egghead pink tree | Go to the pedestal above the food stall on the pink tree. The archive entry is on the ground in the middle. |
| Egghead Critiques: Mantello's | Mantlo's Bar | The archive entry is on the first table to the left of the bar. |
While touring Knowhere, you will find four archives in Marvel''s Guardians of the Galaxy 
Chapter 7: Kanide Complication - 7 Archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| Warning | Corridor | In the corridor after the first hall, the archive entry is on the floor by one of the silver hoses. |
| Cadet Gold's presence | Shaft | You will only find this archive entry if you have obtained Nikki's master key in Chapter 2. Use it to unlock the locked door. Destroy the fragile material opposite the workbench. Follow the exposed corridor. At the end of it, before the abyss, is the archive entry. |
| So many thoughts | Nikki's secret hiding place | You will only find this archive entry if you have obtained Nikki's master key in Chapter 2. Use it to unlock the door to Nikki's secret lair. The archive entry is on the left side of the red chair. |
| Urgent Quarantine Warning | Corridor | After Nikki's secret hideout you will enter a corridor. The archive entry is on the first yellow crate on the right. |
| Upcoming visit of the prosecutor | Kor-El's quarters | The archive entry is on the floor in Kor-El's bedroom. |
| Golden Shadows | Command Center | The archive entry is on a table on the right side of the command center. |
| Cycle Memories | Command Center | There is a desk in front of the window next to the yellow stairs. The archive entry is next to the monitor. |
Before you can collect the seven archives in Chapter 7, you must first restore gravity.
Chapter 8: The Matriarch - 2 Archives

| AW: She's here! | Control center | The archive entry is in the control center on the table to the left of the red hologram. |
| Note: Malfunction | Engine room | After the workbench you will reach a malfunctioning door for which you need a battery. You'll find it next to the robot at the end of the corridor. Next to his arm is the archive entry. |
After meeting the matriarch, there are two archives to find.
Chapter 10: Test of Faith - 2 Archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| A spongy theory | Creepy Cave | Defeat the decay beast and follow the corridor. Squeeze through the gap on the left and then crawl through the crystals. The archive entry is on the top platform at the end of the path. |
| Pip's Pointers | Creepy Cave | The archive entry is on the ground, just before the exit of the second Ogroden Arena. |

Chapter 12: Escape from Knowhere - 6 Archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| Safe on Knowhere | Landing site | After the fight at the landing pad, run to the big elevator. The archive entry is just before on the left on one of the yellow pallets. |
| A prophetic harmony | Marketplace | The archive entry is in the first stall on the right. |
| Egghead reviews: Already better | Mantlos Bar | In front of the rubble of Mantlos Bar are a few pallets on the right. On them lies the archive entry. |
| Answer: Missing person report | Rubble | At the intersection after Mantlos Bar, go straight through the energy cubes. The archive entry is in front of the vending machines. |
| Examine the hand | Way to the continuum cortex | After reuniting with Cosmo, you'll get into an area covered in white ash. Kill the attackers and destroy the red wall. Drag the container behind it to the designated spot. Climb up and have Groot lift the platform to the right of the workbench. At the top, go to the blue barrel on the left and pick up the archive entry. |
| Deaths at work | Way to the Continuum Cortex | On the way to the cortex, go down a broken staircase. At the bottom, go left and pick up the archive entry in front of the railing. |
When you return to Knowhere, you will meet Cosmo for the second time. There are six archives hidden along the way.
Chapter 13: Against all odds - 3 archives
| Name | Location | Description |
| The end of my hunt | Forest | Keep left and destroy the poisonous plants on the hill. The archive entry is at the hunter's sign. |
| Wendigo path! | Wendigo Arena | After the Wendigo fight you have to melt crystals with Peter's Fire Blaster. The archive entry is to the right of the path in the snow. |
| Not sent: Severe setback | Burning Village | After talking to the woman in the Burning Village, you will find the Archive entry along the path. |
One of the three archives in Chapter 13 is in the Burning Village 
Chapter 14: Into the Fire - 1 Archive
| Name | Location | Description |
| To all whom it concerns | Mines | In the mines you come to two gorges with geysers. You have to freeze them with Peter's blaster to be able to cross the chasms. At the second gorge, stop on the frozen geyser and turn to the left. Now you will see more geysers that you can freeze. Jump over them and squeeze through the gap. The archive entry is on the floor in the room behind. |
