In Hope County, there are new weapons on every street corner. You should always have enough with you, because the new world is dangerous. But which weapons are particularly suitable for fighting the Highwaymen? In our weapons guide we will tell you

In the predecessor, you could still grab the weapons and change them to your heart's content. Your beloved revolver was too loud? Well, then just quickly tinkered a silencer on it and you could go on. Far Cry New Dawn no longer offers such configuration options. Weapons are either available from the opponent or from the workbench.

To be able to fully use your workbench in your own home, Prosperity, you should collect a lot of ethanol in the course of the game. With it you can level up your weapon station. Once you've reached the third level, you'll also have elite weapons at your disposal, as well as the option to upgrade to increase damage levels.

Each level includes different weapons of different categories. Melee weapons are always listed first. If you don't have any in your luggage, you can also strike with your fist or give your opponent a good kick. This does a lot of damage and is also a lot of fun. Next, there's a selection of handguns to survive with in Hope County. After that come the bigger guns and finally the whacky gizmos.

1. The best melee weapons

While only the baseball bat is available to you at rank 1, things get more interesting at the second rank. The improvised screw pipe can either be made with some materials or you can simply find it at enemies and abandoned huts. If you are a member of the Ubisoft Club, you can get the shovel with the same stats. Only the range is slightly better than with the screw pipe.

Once you unlock the third level, it doesn't really matter which melee weapon you choose. Both weapons are equally good. It gets really fun with the shovel "Nail", which scores especially in terms of damage. If a melee weapon, then this one!

2. Quiet weapons

If you prefer to sneak up on the enemy quietly and are less into open combat with reinforcements, silent weapons are probably the best choice. Besides silenced guns, we would like to recommend you the Optimized Recurve Bow. Thanks to its high precision and the enormous damage of 800, it kills stealthily, silently, quietly and quickly. If necessary, you can also use explosion arrows, which will give you an additional surprise of sparks.

To keep an eye on things from a distance, it's also always worth having a sniper rifle in your luggage. The optimized MBP .50 is particularly quiet and quite quickly in your inventory during the game. If you want to really show off, there is of course the elite counterpart: "Guerilla Gear" MBP .50. It has double damage values and breaks through even the strongest armor.

3. Crazy weapons

Right at the beginning of the game, thanks to the storyline, you'll be given an extraordinary weapon: the sawblade launcher. Instead of arrows, a saw blade is clamped onto a crossbow-like device, which then flies towards the opponent at a good speed. You don't have to aim so precisely, because the saw blades bounce off many metallic surfaces up to three times and thus also hit the Highwaymen by chance (or clever planning).
As the level increases, so does the number of saw blades this weapon can fire. From level 3 it is no longer silent, but it is really strong with a damage value of 1200.

A special eye-catcher are also the elite weapons that you can acquire with a corresponding upgrade of the workbench and prestige. Among them is the "unicorn" flamethrower. This type of weapon is also available in the lower levels, but only the elite model is equipped with a horn and shines in metallic pink.

4. Especially powerful weapons

With the Ar-C assault rifle, you can play a little "rock-paper-scissors". And we mean that literally, because this elite weapon actually has half a pair of scissors attached, so you can wield the heavy device like a bayonet.

If you really don't want to do without the blade on the front, but don't have enough prestige yet, the Optimized 1887 is also a good choice. Unlike the Assault Rifle, this Rank 3 weapon is a shotgun that does decent damage, especially at close range. Not to mention the injuries from the blade.

In addition to the powerful V.T . and V.3. "Be patient with me" sawblade launchers , we'd like to suggest a bow once again. The "Lucky Hit"compound bow is not only quiet, but can easily take on the crazy weapons with a damage rate of 1200.
