Locations of all Golden Seeds in Elden Ring
Golden Seeds are very important items in Elden Ring that will allow you to improve your Sacred Jar to get more shots of Crimson and Cerulean Tears. Finding them is especially crucial in the late game, as your flask will require more and more Golden Seeds with each upgrade, until you need to consume five of them to get a single extra drink. Although we haven't found all the seeds, we have listed the easy and obvious locations of the seeds. Golden Seeds in Elden Ring for a reliable increase in your jars.
Locations of all Golden Seeds in Elden Ring
We have found these 17 Golden Seed Locations in Elden Ring de everywhere of the Middle Lands that will give you a total of 20 Golden Seeds, enough to get 12 uses of the Holy Jar total. Obviously these aren't all the Golden Seeds in Elden Ring, so you'll definitely find some more unmarked here while you play. Some you will achieve through natural progression of history, but you can also access certain areas simply by exploring on your own. As such, they do not need to be found in the order in which they are listed:
- stormhill – Unless you have chosen to start with a Golden Seed, this will probably be the first one all players find. When you pass through the giant door next to the Ruins of the door, follow the path up the hill and the golden sapling will be on the right.
- Stormhill Cottage – Talk to Roderika in the cabin and exhaust her dialogue to begin your mission. He goes to Stormveil Castle and finds the item Chrysalis Memory – it's in a pile of bodies in a room near the Grafted Sapling. He returns to Roderika and gives her the memory of her, then visit her at the Round Table. She will give you a Golden Seed for your efforts.
- stormveil castle – A Golden Seed can be found inside a castle courtyard with a Giant Troll nearby.
- Tomb of the Fringefolk Hero – You will find one by defeating the boss inside this dungeon area near the beginning of the game.
- Fort Haight – A small golden sapling will be right outside the fort.
- Near Morne Castle – This Golden Seed can be found around some rocks north of Castle Morne. You will find this castle in the Weeping Peninsula area of the map, which is south of West Limgrave, where you start the game.
- caelid – On the main path east of the Dragon Communion Cathedral.
- Bestial Sanctuary – On the main path leading to the sanctuary at the northernmost point of Caelid.
- Academy Gate Village – You can find a Golden Seed inside the ruins of the sunken Academy Gate Town near Raya Lucaria Academy.
- Raya Lucaria Academy – There are two Golden Seeds inside the academy. One can be found after meeting and helping Yura. The other can be found in the courtyard after facing a wolf boss.
- Veiled Ravine Village – There is a flooded ravine north of the academy with a village at the end. You will find a Golden Seed on a small island in the water not far from the village.
- Altus Plateau – Just north of the Gracia Site of the Atlus Highway Intersection, where the road forks.
- Leyndell Outer Wall, main entrance – Once you've taken the main path, fought or ridden past the two Tree Sentinels, and then crossed the outer wall to Leyndell, there will be a Siege of Grace with a sapling nearby. This shoot has two Golden Seeds, so Do not miss it!
- Leyndell Outer Wall, near the inner wall – Follow the paved path from the main entrance and the previous Golden Seeds to find another golden sapling near Leyndell's Inner Wall. This sapling also contains two Golden Seeds!
- Altus Plateau, Lesser Erdtree – A Golden Sapling can be found north-northwest of the Lesser Erdtree in this area.
- Mount Gelmir, Seethewater River – You can find a Golden Seed north of the Seethewater River Grace Site. Search northwest of Wyndham Ruins or near Gelmir's Hero's Tomb.
- Mount Gelmir, near the Volcano Mansion – There is a golden sapling northwest of the Volcano Mansion with a Golden Seed.
How to upgrade your flasks in Elden Ring
After collecting Golden Seeds in Elden Ring, you can head to any Site of Grace, rest, and choose the 'Flasks' option from the menu. Now choose the 'Add Charge to Flask' option and spend any of your Golden Seeds to permanently give you extra drafts from your Holy Flask in addition to your four initials, assuming you have enough seeds.
To fully upgrade your Holy Flasks in Elden Ring you will have to find a total of 30 Golden Seeds (actually There are more than 30 Golden Seeds in Elden Ring, but the extra ones you find are not can use not at all). At the beginning, you will find that a Golden Seed from Elden Ring always gives you extra use of your Holy Flask, but you'll soon need multiple seeds for each extra flask upgrade, as follows:
- 1 Golden Seed each to unlock the 5th and 6th uses of the Holy Jar
- 2 Golden Seeds each to unlock the 7th and 8th uses of the Holy Jar
- 3 Golden Seeds each to unlock the 9th and 10th uses of the Holy Jar
- 4 Golden Seeds each to unlock the 11th and 12th uses of the Holy Jar
- 5 Golden Seeds each to unlock the 13th and 14th uses of the Holy Jar
Keep track of how many seeds you need, and once you have enough for an upgrade, finding a Grace Site to use them should be your top priority. That extra shot of Tears could be what helps you live or die in your next encounter! Note that the Holy Flask in Elden Ring has health and magic restoration abilities, so you may want to reallocate your flask uses between Crimson's healing and Cerulean's magic restoration to better fit your playstyle each time you get more.
Also note that Elden Ring Golden Seeds do not reinforce your flasks to improve their restorative capabilities; you'll need to find Holy Tears for that. You should also take a look at some Elden Ring Rune farming locations so you can accumulate more points in your Vigor or Mind Attributes to increase your maximum HP and FP respectively.
While you can find a couple of Golden Seeds in the early hours, You can also start with a Golden Seed as one of the Elden Ring Memories when creating your character. Choosing it will give you a decent advantage for the first few bosses you'll face, and you could have up to seven uses of the Holy Flask when you need to know how to beat Margit in Elden Ring.
