What do the artifacts do for me?
The artifacts are perceived by the game as collectibles. For finding and scanning all seven artifacts you will be rewarded with the achievement "Everything was better in the past". And you will get a record for each artifact, which will give you additional background information about the story.
Tips for finding the artifacts
You should take care of the artifacts only when you are far advanced in the campaign. It is much more convenient if you have already liberated most of the outposts or even have access to the Wasps and Banshees. This way you'll get from one artifact to the next faster.
The Bloodfather artifacts are made of stone and are ring-shaped.
In order for the artifacts to be scanned, you must seek them out in the correct order. Artifact IV cannot be scanned until you have scanned Artifact III.
Artifact I
The first Bloodfather artifact is located on the island of Connections. It is located on the large mountain in the east of the island, near the waters east of Troop Harpoon.

Artifact II
The second artifact can be found high in the north of the island "Connections", a few hundred meters south of the outpost Tremonius. The stone rings stand on the shore of the large lake.

Artifact III
Artifact number three is on a hill in the western half of Lockdown Island. The hill is located about 430 meters southwest of the Ranzion Fortress.

Artifact IV
The fourth artifact can also be found on the island "Abrieglung". It is located on the mountain in the north of the eastern half of the island, about 600 meters northeast of the Gulf Outpost.

Artifact V
On Reformation Island, there is a wide mountain in the center. The artifact is on the west side of the mountain.

Artifact VI
The next artifact can be found in a river on the northern edge of Reformation Island. Be careful not to fall down the waterfall when scanning.

Artifact VII
The seventh and last Bloodfather Artifact can be found in the north of the eastern half of Reformation Island, to the left of a rock formation. The next quick travel point is the November outpost. From there, it's about 350 yards north.
