Devil May Cry 5: Solve all secret missions!

If you want to achieve 100 percent to bag the Platinum Trophy for DMC5 on PS4, the Unveiled Secrets Achievement is a good place to start. Once you've found and mastered all twelve missions, it's yours.

How do you recognize the secrets?

Look around a little more closely while exploring the individual levels in DMC5. On walls, ceilings or the floor you will always find red patterns, which form a picture from the right perspective. As a little help, you'll find a glowing spot nearby, which you'll have to stand on. Once you have looked at the pattern from the right angle, you can start the secret mission right away or simply move on and select it later from the menu.

Secret Mission #1

You'll stumble upon the first secret directly in mission 02. Direct your gaze at the door and the picture will start to feel together. In this level, your task is to kill all the demons in less than 1:30 min. Sounds pretty easy and it is.

Secret Mission #2

In mission 03 there is the next secret to find. You don't have a time limit this time. Your task is to prevent the 5 Empusa from escaping. They want to flow by digging themselves into the ground. So finish them off quickly so that none of them escapes. This works especially well with Overture, Nero's Devil Breaker.

Secret Mission #3

The next secret mission starts with V in mission 04. Here it's all about speed again, because you only have 35 seconds to collect 20 red balls. You must not dawdle here! It's best to go to the red orbs on the right first and then collect the rest counterclockwise.

Secret Mission #4

In mission 5, V is again your partner to complete the secret. For three minutes, hordes of enemies will come at you and try to hurt V. In order for the mission not to fail, the dark protagonist must not get a scratch. So don't get hit! Give V some new abilities (e.g.: promotion) and it should work out.

Secret mission #5

Skill is needed in the secret from mission 08. The goal is to complete the course without touching the ground. Shimmy from one Grim Grip to the next. But be careful: Some of them have to be activated first. To do so, simply shoot at them briefly and hook back in.

Secret Mission #6

Mission 09 also contains a secret. Here you only have 20 seconds to defeat all the demons with V and his helpers. This is a tight time limit and difficult to accomplish. Try it on the lowest difficulty level first and venture back to this secret mission later with better equipment. Improvements for Shadow and Griffon are especially helpful here.

Secret Mission #7

For the next secret mission, you'll need to aim well. You have 30 seconds to shoot a bullet into the enemies' weakest point. Only then will you have successfully solved the mystery in mission 10. This should work well with the Balrog weapon.

Secret Mission #8

In the eleventh mission your skills are needed. To complete this level, DMC5 expects you to have at least Stylish Rank S for 50 seconds. Change your weapons and attacks frequently and form chains as long as possible. As a little help, you can switch on the auto mode at any time, with which you can easily achieve super combos.

Secret Mission #9

In mission 12 you have to prove that you are real high-flyers. You are expected to stay in the air for 15 seconds. Since the three protagonists can't fly, you'll have to help them out with appropriate attacks. Dante's weapon Cavalire will help you if you repeatedly perform the air attack with it.

Secret Mission #10

For the next secret mission 14 we stay in airy heights. This is also a bit trickier now, because this task requires multiple inputs. We recommend you to attack 3 times in the air and then combine a shoulder button with the right button. This will teleport V, who will then glide transitionlessly onto Griffon when you press the bottom button.

Secret Mission #11

Mission 15 sounds easy as pie. All you have to do is reach the goal within 30 seconds. You must not dawdle or make any detours. To skip some platforms easily Gerbera can help. This is one of the first Devil Breakers from Nero.

Secret mission #12

for the last secret? In mission 16, your task is to collect 800 red orbs. However, you only have 1:30 minutes to do so. Pretty tight, isn't it? In order to do that, the ability Dr. Faust is indispensable. This makes collecting the orbs much easier.
