Biomutant boss Lupa Lupin: How to defeat the flesh-eater

In this boss guide to Biomutant you will learn:

  • How to defeat the final boss Lupa Lupin
  • How often you will face the last Flesh Eater
  • Which attacks of the boss are particularly dangerous

You will meet the final boss in Biomutant, Lupa Lupin, for the first time in the game's tutorial. Follow the instructions on the screen and nothing else can happen to you. It's not until the second encounter that things get down to business. Once you've defeated two of the four World Eaters in Biomutant, Steinalt will send you to Lupa Lupin's camp. You are to face him and the terrible memory to exorcise the demons of your past. When you arrive at the camp, the battle begins after a short cutscene.

How to defeat Lupa Lupin in his camp in Biomutant

The behemoth comes at you with a large blade. Circle him and let the Biomutant Lupa Lupin immediately under fire. If the boss starts to sprint or jump, dodge just before he reaches you. His blows cause a lot of damage. When you have shot down the first third of his life energy, Lupa Lupin will use a club. In this section he acts a bit slower. If he hits you with the mace, however, it's over quickly.

In the last third he uses two huge nails and becomes much more agile. Lupa Lupin jumps around the arena and uses double-handed attacks. Dodge quickly and attack him immediately if one of his attacks misses and his nails get stuck in the ground for a moment. Once you've won the fight, don't forget to collect the youngling weapon next to the tent.

If your biomutant Lupa Lupin stands in his camp, he will attack with huge earth nails.

Lupa Lupin Guide: Battle for the End of the World

The last encounter with Lupa Lupin takes place at the end of the main quest "The End of the World". In his camp, where you left him before, you should now accept your fate. The flesh-eater frees himself from his bonds and the battle begins. This time Lupa Lupin is much tougher than the times before. You should level up your character to around level 25 before accepting the quest. You can read how to level up quickly in our Biomutant Tips Guide. In the first round, allied tribal warriors will support you.

Use a strong ranged weapon and if possible equip the biomutant with psi powers that deal damage at a distance. Lupa Lupin jumps around the arena, lashing out wildly. Take advantage of the warriors' distraction and attack the monster from a distance. If he hammers the ground with his fists, you can initiate a melee attack from behind. Special attacks with area damage are also suitable here. If he rushes at you, quickly dodge to the side and keep him at a distance again.

Watch out for the arrows above Lupa Lupin's head. They indicate that the end boss wants to perform an attack.

How to heat up Lupa Lupin in close combat in Biomutant

Just before Lupa Lupin performs an attack, small white flashes appear above his head. Always keep an eye on them so you know when it's time to dodge. After the first third, the leader of your allied tribe will interfere and support you. Now you can move on to melee combat together. Use as many special attacks as possible so that you can activate Super Wung Fu.

This will damage the monster the most. After your companion leaves the fight again, you'll have to manage the last third alone. Continue in the same way as before. Once the life bar has been emptied, Lupa Lupin will transport you one floor below the ground and the fight starts all over again.

If Lupa Lupin jumps into the air and glows purple, quickly get the Biomutant to safety.

The finale against the final boss in Biomutant

In the new arena, Lupa Lupin triggers a shockwave. Jump away sideways as soon as he rams his fists into the ground. If he lights up purple while doing so, he will teleport to the opposite side shortly after and attack you from behind. Don't get too close to him, otherwise he'll grab the bio mutant and send him across the arena with one punch. About halfway through, the final boss in Biomutant Lupa Lupin speeds up and switches back and forth between his attacks almost seamlessly.

If his fists light up purple, he'll release several shockwaves in a row shortly after. Use a sideways double jump here to escape damage. In the last third, Lupa Lupin extends this attack one more time. He jumps into the air, hitting the ground as he lands, sending out several shockwaves in all directions. You can only escape them by running to the very edge of the arena once Lupa Lupin is in the air. If the boss hits the ground, jump away to the side again.
