In our guide to the PAX talent trees in Outriders Worldslayer you will learn:

  • How to unlock the PAX talent trees
  • How to level them
  • What abilities await you

In our guide to the new features of Outriders Worldslayer, we tell you all the other new features of the expansion.

What are the PAX talent trees?

In Outriders Worldslayer, the apocalypse is upon us - and you must stop it. You can only do this by harnessing the full power of the PAX talent trees. These house powerful abilities and talents that you can use to further specialize your character.

The PAX talent tree is in addition to your standard skill tree, so each class in Outriders Worldslayer has two skill trees.

One talent tree, two specializations: The Pax talent trees strengthen your character.

How do I unlock all PAX skill trees?

As soon as you start the first mission of Outriders Worldslayer's campaign , you will have access to the PAX talent trees. After clicking through the tutorial, you can view them in the menu under "Class".

Each of the four classes from the main game - Devastator, Pyromancer, Assassin and Technomancer - gets a new PAX skill tree with two specializations each.

How do I level the PAX talent tree?

Unlocking the abilities in the talent trees works through so-called PAX points. The first four points are not gained by leveling up, but by completing campaign missions in Outriders Worldslayer.

The fifth and final PAX point is obtained from the first boss of the Traya Gratar trials - the Mediator of the Worthy. Once you defeat him, the last point will be unlocked and you will be able to use the full power of the PAX talent trees.

Five powerful talents for your characters

The individual talents are very strong compared to the abilities from the main game's talent tree. This makes each of your choices feel significant.

A good example: the Eternal Trickery skill from the Assassin's Exploiter specialization increases your anomaly power by 10 percent per critical hit (up to a maximum of 50 percent). Once you use a damage ability, the buff automatically resets. Additionally, your attack weapons deal 50 percent more damage for seven seconds after the buff resets.

The focus of specializations differs in the PAX talent trees for each class. You can specialize your Pyromancer in Anomaly Power with the Pyromancer tree. If you want to focus on weapon damage, you should choose the Pyromancer's Gunslinger talent tree.

There, you'll get theWildFire skill, which increases the damage of offensive weapons by three percent per shot. This boost only ends when you stop shooting. So if you use a build that keeps refilling your magazine, you'll get an infinitely-increasable damage buff for your weapon.
