Until now, all players of Devil May Cry 5 thought that they could only reach the end by playing through all chapters. All the intermediate bosses want to be defeated in order to then stand in front of the big boss. However, this is a mistake.

As we now know, the end of Devil May Cry 5 can be triggered quite early in the storyline. You'll be rewarded with a secret ending text, the Hell difficulty level, and the "Damn It" trophy.

At this point, we have to issue a spoiler warning. The following part is about enemies from DMC 5 that can be seen later in the game. Please only read the following sections if you can handle little glimpses into the future or if you have already finished a run-through.

During the course of the game, you will repeatedly encounter Urizen in various forms and situations. If you finally defeat him, this part of the hack'n'slay is over. However, this goal can be reached not only after 18 hours of gameplay, but very early on.

In the prologue you play with Nero and meet Urizen for the first time. You probably won't have much of a chance against the powerful demon. If your life energy drops to zero, a sequence is triggered and you flee. But what if you manage to defeat the powerful enemy? In the first run and without special skills an impossibility.however, you can start with all the previous skills and thus mix him up properly.

Trigger secret ending: Possibility #1

If you have played through DMC5, you start a new run with all your collected skills. So you should now have a wide variety of skills, Devil Breaker and Devil Trigger.

First, destroy Urizen's shield. Once that's done, you can use your Devil Trigger and switch to melee. Now aim at the enemy's head and hit hard.

Trigger the secret ending: Option #2

If you play Devil May Cry 5 on Devil Hunter difficulty and later on another run on Son of Sparda, you will unlock "Heaven and Hell". In this mode, everything will go down right at the first hit. Your character as well as nasty end bosses. Strike first and victory will be yours within seconds.
