Saints Row: Earn money - how to become rich

Every gangster boss needs an expensive car, expensive clothes and expensive weapons. That's why you need money. In our guide you will learn how to collect a lot of money in the first hours of the game.

Which side activities can I use to earn money?

Santo Illeso is the city of unlimited possibilities - if you are willing to break the boundaries of legality. You'll unlock most of the activities on the map after completing the first seven main missions.

In passenger side stores you get to play bodyguard.

There are discoveries and side stores in Santo Illeso. Discoveries are marked in yellow on the map, but they don't always bring you money. Side stores are mini-games that take more time, but always reward you with money. They are marked in blue on the map.

The following side jobs will earn you at least $4,000 for each job:

  • Passenger: you take part in a chase and have to destroy enemy vehicles.
  • Helicopter theft: You have to steal something valuable with a huge magnet and fly it through the city
    the city.
  • Pony Express: Transport important goods through the city while being chased by the police
    by the police.

Some side jobs you can repeat as many times as you want. No matter how many times you've played the sidequest, you'll be paid $4,000 each time.

For discoveries you usually get less money, but you don't have to do much. However, don't waste time trying to find all the discoveries separately - it's best to play them when they pop up on the minimap on the way to a mission, for example.

Even a gangster boss needs to dig around in the trash sometimes.

The following discoveries are especially good for earning some money on the side:

  • Containerizing: Search dumpsters for valuable items and money.
  • Collect drug pallets: Collect drugs and sell them for money.

Earn money fast with missions in the Wanted app

Once you have completed the first four main missions, the Wanted app will automatically download on your smartphone. In this app, you accept orders from petty criminals. Unfortunately, Wanted missions cannot be repeated, but they are easy to complete. You will always receive $5,000 as a reward.

Buy ventures and increase passive income

Projects are properties and businesses that are under the control of the Saints. They can be insurance companies or waste disposal plants. You buy ventures at the empire table, which is located on the second floor of the headquarters. You will unlock the headquarters and the table after the "Networking" main mission.

At the empire table you can see which projects you already have.

Ventures generate passive income every hour. You can also upgrade your ventures by mastering mini-games and earn up to $30,000. To do so, drive to a project and activate the respective mini-game there.

You can even make money with radioactive waste.

For the successful completion of all minigames you'll get money and other rewards, such as new car models or cosmetic items. Also, the company will be upgraded and your passive income will increase.

Besides the Saints, there are other gangs in the city that will stand in your way. Complete all the "Threat" side missions in a district to increase the passive income of the ventures.
