With three storylines and a total playtime of more than 100 hours, Fire Emblem Warriors: Three Hopes is a real action RPG colossus. After we already told you how to unlock all characters on the "Red Flames" route, in this guide we'll dedicate ourselves to the "Blue Glow" route, which comes with partly completely different prerequisites.

In addition, we'll tell you the ideal class for each character and show you who you should give which gifts to in order to massively increase the support value. Important for newcomers: You can customize the classes at the master teacher in the warehouse, new gifts are available from the seller - some rarities, however, only when you expand his sales stand for luxury goods.

Characters unlocked from chapter 3

Dimitri Alexandre Blaiddyd

  • Affiliation: Kingdom of Faerghus
  • Unlock Condition: Automatically unlocked in Chapter 3 of the "Blue Glow" campaign. Cannot be recruited in other campaigns.

Ingrid Brandl Galatea

Annette Fantine Dominic

Hapi

  • Unlock Condition: Can be convinced by using a strategy in the main mission of Chapter 4 (To War!). The cost is ten strategy resources.
  • Ideal Gifts: Owl Feather, Exotic Spices, Delicious Pastries, Smoked Meat, Hunting Dagger, Water Pitcher Plant, Coffee Beans
  • Best class: Gremory

Petra Macneary

  • Affiliation: Empire of Adrestia
  • Unlock Condition: Can be convinced by using a strategy in the main mission of Chapter 4 (To War!). The cost is ten strategy resources.
  • Ideal Gifts: Owl Feather, Hunting Dagger, Smoked Meat, Sunflower, Exotic Spices
  • Best class: Crook

It's best to create a save game after Chapter 2 and then not touch it again. That way, you'll always quickly get back to the point where you have to choose one of the three houses.

Flayn

  • Unlock Condition: At the start of the fifth chapter of the Blue Glow campaign, Flayn automatically joins the Blue Lions.

Seteth

  • Unlock Condition: At the beginning of the fifth chapter of the "Blue Glow" campaign, Seteth automatically joins the Blue Lions.

Dorothea Arnault

  • Affiliation: Empire of Adrestia
  • Unlock Condition: Can be recruited by using the appropriate persuasion strategy in Chapter 5 of the "Blue Glow" campaign. This requires ten strategy resources.
  • Ideal Gifts: Owl feather, sheet music collection, gemstones, fancy hair ornaments
  • Best class: Gremory

In the main menu, under the "Extras" menu item, you can view the 3D model of each unit you've already unlocked, change classes at the touch of a button, and then directly check how this affects the character's outfit.

Only when you significantly expand the Marketplace's merchant network via upgrade will the assortment of gifts also be expanded.

Constance of Nuvelle

  • Affiliation: Empire of Adrestia
  • Unlock Condition: Can be recruited by using the Persuade strategy (cost: 30 strategy points) in the main mission of Chapter 11 (Retribution).

Byleth Eisner

  • Affiliation: Ash Demon
  • Unlock Condition: Byleth can be recruited in the main battle of Chapter 12. To make it work, you need to explore the Menja area on the strategy map before starting the mission, which will give you the "Locate Ambush" strategy. At the start of the main mission, select the unlocked strategy and activate it. In the following, it is important not to be seen by the mercenaries. Before you sneak past the enemy, first send all the troops to the bulwark in the southeast of the map and give them a Defend order. Then open the map and look for a green arrow that will outline the ideal route through the battlefield. Follow it to avoid being spotted by the mercenaries. Make sure to capture all the strongholds on the route. Once you reach your destination, the main mission will change and you will be given the task of eliminating the mercenaries who want to capture your allies' base. Once that's done, you'll take care of Fleche and take them out of circulation. Finally, you'll have to finish off Randolph. Meanwhile, leave the side mission - defeat Byleth - completely to the left! Once Randolph is history, the victory is yours and Byleth and Jeralt join the Blue Lions.

Byleth can be either female or male, depending on what you specify at the start of the game. Unlocking her or him in Chapter 12 in Blue Glow only works if you specifically avoid Byleth during the mission.

Jeralt Reus Eisner

  • Affiliation: Church of Seiros
  • Unlock Condition: Jeralt is unlocked together with Byleth in mission 12 of the "Blue Glow" campaign. To find out exactly how to do this, read the Byleth paragraph.

Jeritza of Hrym
