WoW Classic Leveling Areas: Important info

In Azeroth, 40 level areas are waiting for you to quest through. Of course, you can complete all tasks in each area before moving on. However, this is not advisable - at least not if level 60 is your short-term goal. Usually, after a certain number of quests, you will be automatically directed to a new area, but some players prefer to choose an area that suits their level themselves.

If you want to get to level 60 quickly, you should stay in areas where the quests have a yellow color. If they're green, you'll get far fewer experience points - and if they're gray, you won't get any! Once you reach the maximum level, you can return to the areas to complete the missing quests if necessary.
