When you have recovered a treasure for the first time, return to the underground man in Ewigenau and he will reward you with a drill.

With the disposable drill, you may build a secret base on any wall in the underground caves.

What treasures can I dig up in the underground caves?

When digging in the underground caves, you can recover three different types of treasures: spheres, items, and statues. Spheres can be exchanged for items at the merchants in the underground caves. They have different degrees of rarity, which make them worth different amounts.

Occasionally you will meet Digdas and Digdris at crossroads. If the mole-like creatures disappear, collect their shimmering legacy. One Digda earns you one point, Digdri earns you three points. Collect a total of forty of these points to increase the quality of the treasures. Be careful: the underground points expire as soon as you return to the surface or quit the game.
