Read our guide to the Atlantis DLC for Assassin's Creed Odyssey:

  • How to get access to the DLC
  • What content awaits you

If you've completed Assassin's Creed Odyssey and are bored by now, you'll get even more adventure with the second DLC storyline "The Fate of Atlantis". In our guide, you can read how to get access to the DLC and what content is in store for you in the expansion.

How do I get access to the DLC "The Fate of Atlantis"?

In order to start directly into the first of three episodes, you need to fulfill a few requirements. The first, of course, is that you own the content in the first place - you can either get it as part of the Season Pass or buy the storylines separately. By the way, the Gold Edition of Assassin's Creed Odyssey () already includes the Season Pass.

You'll also have to meet a few in-game requirements before you can access the new content:

  • Your character must be at least level 28
  • You must have completed "Between Two Worlds," the main mythological storyline
  • You must have completed "The Heiress of Memories," the Forgotten Tales questline

If you want to start directly into the content without detours and perhaps with a new character, there is also the possibility of a shortcut. You will then start with a character on level 52 with suitable equipment, but you will not be allowed to take the game progress with you into the main game.

If you choose the classic way, you'll have to solve the quest "A Family Legacy" and then complete the first series of Atlantis quests, including a sphinx with some tricky puzzles. We are happy to help you with our guides. You should also have completed the first storyline, as the content of "The Fate of Atlantis" ties in with the end of the first storyline.

What content can I expect in the DLC?

"The Fate of Atlantis" again consists of three episodes - just like the first DLC storyline "The Legacy of the First Blade". The episodes are:

  • The Elysian Realms
  • The agonies of Hades
  • The Judgment of Atlantis

With new legendary equipment, you'll go into battle against new bosses.

In "The Fate of Atlantis" players get closer acquaintance with the Isu, whose traces run through almost all Assassin's Creed games. Both Isu ruins and conversations with the god-like beings have repeatedly given reason for speculation in the past. Now series fans will probably finally get answers to questions that have been asked in vain for a long time.

The DLC strand brings new enemies into the game accordingly, at least some of which could already be seen in the trailer. New bosses, such as the three-headed guard dog of the underworld, Kerberos, are also included.

In addition, there will be new legendary weapons and equipment, as well as the possibility to adapt existing skills to your own play style. With the first episode, the improvements "Attack of Ares", "Power of Artemis", "Slow Motion of Kronos" and "Madness of Ares" will be added to the game.
