If you love your PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5, it's almost mandatory: PlayStation Plus! The subscription service is a supplement to the PlayStation Experience and brings you online multiplayer, cloud storage and at least two new games every month. The games for PlayStation Plus Essential in August 2022

The Essential titles will, of course, be available to subscribers of PlayStation Plus' Extra and Premium offerings.

Yakuza: Like A Dragon (PS4 & PS5)

Like A Dragon is the eighth installment in the main Yakuza series and has some major changes in store. For the first time, you no longer take on the role of Kazuma Kiryu, but experience the story from the perspective of the new protagonist Ichiban Kasuga. In addition, the action combat system has been replaced by turn-based battles.

However, the series remains true to the tragic yet humorous storytelling, and you can once again pass the time in numerous side activities such as arcade games or go-kart driving.

Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 2 Cross-Gen Deluxe Bundle (PS4 & PS5)

This collection brings two of the most famous skateboarding games to the current generation of consoles, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 1 2. The levels look better than ever before thanks to a completely new graphics engine - on PS5 even in 4K and 60 FPS or 1440p and smooth 120 FPS.

In addition to all the skaters from the original games, such as Tony Hawk, Kareem Campbell or Bucky Lasek, you can also expect a few newcomers such as Nyjah Huston or Aori Nishimura. You can perform daring skateboard tricks alone in solo mode, in local multiplayer with a friend or in online multiplayer against players from all over the world.

Little Nightmares (PS4)

Little Nightmares is an atmospheric horror adventure. You take on the role of little Six in the yellow raincoat and have to escape from the mysterious maw. You can expect numerous puzzles and many creepy environments, such as a dollhouse or a kitchen parlor haunted by a crazy cook.
