Life is Strange: True Colors is released on September 10, 2021 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S and is now the fifth installment in the Life is Strange series. But can it keep up with its predecessors in terms of playtime?
This is how long the main story of Life is Strange: True Colors lasts
A look at the HowLongToBeat page reveals how long it took players of Life is Strange: True Colors to play through the adventure game. On average, they needed about ten hours to complete the main story. However, there were also some who completed the game in just under nine hours. There were also some who took a bit longer, a good 12.5 hours.
The playing time already includes all cutscenes and dialogs. But you can also see that the latest part is a lot shorter than its predecessors with an average of ten hours. Life is St range, for example, is around 14 hours long, and Life is Strange 2 is even 16 hours long.

Since you can go on a trophy hunt in Life is Strange: True Colors, and you'll have to find all the memories and complete side missions, you'll add a bit more gameplay time. In order to end up with a platinum or a gamerscore of 1,000 points, you'll have to count on about three more hours. The total playing time is thus roughly 13 hours.
Can the game time be extended?
