Monster Hunter Rise Light Bow Rifle: Guide & Controls
On your mark, get set, fire away in Monster Hunter Rise with the light bow rifle! This weapon is ideal for beginners, because you are much more agile with it than with its big brother, the heavy bow rifle. In this guide you will learn:

Monster Hunter Rise: Advantages and disadvantages of the light bow rifle
While the heavy bow rifle is more suitable for playing in a team, you can easily go solo with the light bow rifle - even as a beginner. However, if you want to play with this weapon, keep in mind that you will always have to buy or make your own ammunition. So you should never go into battle unprepared.
Unlike the heavy bow rifle, the light bow rifle gives you more freedom of movement, but also does less damage in Monster Hunter Rise. Also, watch your crosshairs and only fire when they are yellow and/or orange.
How to control the light bow rifle
You don't have to learn elaborate combos when you play with the light bow rifle. There are none. Only the following key combinations should be remembered.

Reload: If you press the button only once, only one round will be reloaded. If you hold the button down, the entire ammunition line will be reloaded.
Wyvernexplosion: With this ability you place explosive charges on the target, which explode as soon as they are attacked.
The light bow rifle doesn't have any combos that you have to learn.
New in Monster Hunter Rise: Silk Binder Attacks
The light bow rifle also has two silk binder attacks . Now you can find out which ones they are.
The main attacks
Silk Binder Glide: Press R X to activate the silk binder attack. You dash forward and unleash a fierce melee attack with ZR. However, this action consumes two rope beetles.
Fan Catapult: Press R A to activate the Silk Binder attack. You'll dash forward with the help of a rope beetle. Quickly press the Shoot (ZR) and Reload (X) buttons, then use the A button below you to trigger a Wyvernex explosion.

Switch arts from the light bow rifle
Don't feel like using the fan catapult and would rather use the fan maneuver? No problem, you can change silk binder attacks at any time. With the fan maneuver, you quickly dodge to the side using a rope beetle and your attack power temporarily increases. You can still fire shots while moving.
