Pokémon Legends: Arceus
At the beginning of 2022, Nintendo landed a real hit with Pokémon Legends: Arceus () landed a real hit. In Bowser's Fury, team up with Bowser Jr. and collect the cat insignia to stop Bowser Senior. Once you've collected all the insignias, you can become Giga Mario and stop Bowser's monster. Instead of linear levels, an open world with several islands awaits you, which you can play as you like. Experience the adventure alone or hand over a Joy-Con to a friend, who will then control Bowser Jr.

The advantage of Overcooked! All You Can Eat (): For the first time, you can play the levels from Overcooked 1 together online and don't have to rely on couch co-op.

Metroid Dread

Only if you use your skills cleverly will you be able to take on the powerful bosses and the nasty E.M.M.I. robots. You'll also encounter many locked doors and hurdles that you won't be able to open or overcome until later. Until then, you should keep your eyes open for clues and shortcuts.

Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Animal Crossing: New Horizons () is almost a classic among the Nintendo Switch games. You can design the island on which you are based as you wish. To do this, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe () provides you with numerous tools, such as speed mushrooms or tanks, which will give you a boost or knock the competition off track.
Brand new: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe has a paid DLC () since March 2022, the booster track pass, which will give you 48 tracks until the end of 2023 that fans of the series already know from previous Mario Kart games.

Disco Elysium: The Final Cut

For example, it does without a battle system completely!

Death's Door
The indie hit from early 2021 is making a rapid leap to the Nintendo Switch. In Death's Door, you take on the role of a crow that has to collect the souls of the dead as a so-called reaper.
The game is designed for you to fail at one point or another - that's where the Souls-like elements of the game become noticeable. You'll explore the lovingly designed world, face dangers in the form of small dungeons and bosses, and successively learn new abilities that will help you advance Death's Door.
